Great waffles and eggs and bacon. A real comfort food spot. Age around 1:00 pm and was not a lot of cars in driveway. Came back on Sunday AM and could t find a parking spot. Clearly everyone else knows how great the food is here. Will go back if I'm flying I to Wichita again. More...

I called to make a reservation, they took my reservation on Thursday (it’s Sunday)We waited over an hour past our reservation time, then I received a text saying our reservation had been canceled. They continued to seat people in the only space they had for a large party. Pushing our wait longer and longer. Customer service was crap, nobody knew what was going on. The “manager” was a server that only seemed to be concerned about her tables being filled. They have no concept of how to manage a wait! More...

Well we went again! This time I got the chicken fried chicken which our waitress Andrea recommended. I'm glad I did because It was very good and it came with 2 eggs, hash browns and I selected the banana bread French toast as my other side. I took some of my meal home including the French toast and just now ate it like a dessert, it was phenomenal, it had bananas strawberries blueberries and pecans on top.To conclude, what made our dining experience over the top was our lovely kind and sweet waitress Andrea. Met a friend for breakfast this morning. Had the chicken fried chicken breakfast and a guava mimosa. I will definitely be going back. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I would suggest reserving a table online if you go on the weekend. We waited 45 minutes or so but it was worth it! More...

Finally..This place was really pretty inside! My husband got an omelet and I got the eggs Benedict with turkey. Coffee was different, not very flavorful and the cups didn't keep your coffee hot which I thought was weird. We had a really nice waitress and I may go back to try the chicken fried steak. As of 9/17/21, they are taking no Covid precautions. It's very busy and there's no masks for anyone, so enter at your own risk. The food is good and the staff was nice, but honestly, we waited an hour in a crazy busy restaurant only to discover that the breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary. Wichita is not Haysville and there are so many breakfast options around here, so next time, we're sticking to the Egg Crate Cafe. More...

tried to have breakfast/lunch here today. we were greeted promptly and seated right away... that's where the good experience ended.
waited over 10 minutes for the server to come over to take order. gave our order for iced tea, water, Eggs Benedict and country fried steak. after another 30 minutes, all didn't have our drinks... watched our server stand at the register, not waiting on people, taking with the other staff. there were maybe 5 tables of people at this time.
we finally decided to leave at the 30 minute mark.
