JR transformed our I'll mannered disobedient black lab into a well mannered loving dog. He knows dog psychology and applies it well into training. I highly recommend JR.

I can’t say enough great things about JR. He turned our very hyper, stubborn dog that we didn’t trust taking anywhere into the best trained dog anywhere we go. My wife and I truly reached out to him in desperation and after the first time I spoke with him I knew he was the trainer to go with. His knowledge and understanding of dogs and training techniques for them is amazing. Our dog is now the best trained/behaved dog anywhere we go. From the get-go it was clear that JR has an uncanny confidence and authority around dogs. He requires hard work and patience from both human and canine clients, but the results are amazing. Our family, friends, and neighbors were all taken aback when they got to finally see the calm and sweet version of our dog that we've always known...and we get to trust her off leash (!) while she enjoys walks more than ever. JR is open to any and all questions throughout the process, and his responsiveness was really appreciated. There are probably plenty of trainers who will baby you and your dog to make you feel nice, but I doubt they are nearly as successful as JR. It was so rewarding to put in the work and face down challenges as a team, then come out of it all the better for it thanks to his leadership. More...
