Waited out in the car for a hour and 15 minutes with with three kids after being told only a 15 minute wait was there at 7pm still waiting at 830 pm ask how much longer I was next on list but at 7pm was was first on list doesn’t add up At all Nice looking establishment but will not be getting out of my business. Had to call and take them to remove my name from the list at 830. Sad thing is I heard good things about the place from people. I had the salmon stuffed with lobster with seafood risotto & asparagus. It was delicious. The customer service was great. It was a great experience from the time you walk through the doors and are greeted by the hostess until the time you leave . I will be visiting again soon. Tonight was our first time at The Diner. They have a varied menu with many yummy comfort food choices. Our sirloins were juicy and cooked perfectly. I had Prime Rib which was perfectly cooked, the horseradish was creamy with a sharp bite. For my first side I had collard greens that were cooked just to the point of doness without the soogy limp cooked spinach look and it was seasoned with just enough bacon for flavor and not oily. The mashed potatoes were fluffy but if you like buttery potatoes then ask for some butter. I did not see a need for butter because the the prime rib had a lot of Au jus. They have a cook who serves food off the floor and the owner knows but refuses to do anything bout it. And that same cool drips sweat over plates and with the same gloves hands will wipe his face and finish playing food without washing his hands and changing gloves.

We ate at the Diner last night. Food was okay, nothing really special. Lacked seasoning Main issues were staff yelling across restaurant at each other, our waitress cleaned our drinks before we were finished, and then she added her own tip to our bill before we had a chance All in all disappointed and will not return. I had been there two times before, both times for lunch and the food and service were good. The owner (Glenn I assume) said I needed to come back Friday night when they h:ad Prime rib. So tonight (Friday the 31st) I went there at 530 looking forward to a great Prime Rib dinner. I was seated by the hostess and sat at my table for 7 and a half minutes. I tried to make eye contact and flag down a server, but I was completely ignored. Finally I left and gave my menu back to the hostess and told her "for some reason no one wants to serve me tonight" She said thank you. the ultimate burger was the BOMB!!! it was exactly as the server had describe!!! the Country fried steak was a little on the small side but it was thick and packed with a flavor,i ordered it with mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli salad that was really good! I look forward to dining there again and plan on friday for prime rib! The server was polite and served us in a timely manner. as we were leaving my husband asked to see the cook so he could compliment him and leave him a tip,he was very polite and gracious! I placed a To Go order yesterday, Tonmy's Nachos and the Fish Plate (Flounder) plus a cup of chili. When I got home (I only live 1 mile away) the Tortilla chips in the Nachos were already soggy.
