Cool property in a nice part of Daytona with restaurants and shops within walking distance including the speedway. I’m very disappointed because we spent New Year’s Eve 2020 here and the bar shut down at 12:30 am with last call being done before I could even finish my champagne and the DJ playing the last song very shortly after that. We got the room here because we wanted to spend our New Year’s Eve here and not have to worry about going somewhere else. It’s always tough to get ubers and cabs on New Years. What a bummer..... My husband and I decided to grab just 1 drink and a small bite to share. Well 3 drinks and a full delicious meal later we are definitely going back! Not only is the atmosphere on the upper deck, outside bar great Jessica our bartender was Fabulous! Jessica greeted us with a lovely smile and wonderful service! The Daytona is a wonderful property with style-filled finishes all around. The visual and aesthetic appeal of the hotel is simply the beginning. I've stayed at this hotel for several nights in the year they've been open. The staff are all warm, welcoming and helpful. Kayla and Julia provide exceptional customer service, both display a strong attention for detail, and are eager to assist in anyway possible. As a local I enjoy visiting the bar and restaurant often sharing a great meal with my wife and our friends. Lindsey, Alyssa, Savanna and Jess always make the food and beverage experience exceptional. The entire hotel is led by a high-energy, ever optimistic GM, Mickey who clearly loves his job. His leadership is certain to be a large part of what makes the entire property feel a little bit more like home! I highly recommend The Daytona for meeting, dining, stay-or- va-cation, and evening beverages. More...
