I am so grateful for this yoga studio in my hometown and it's generous offer provide me with unlimited yoga and free use of mat for one week for just $35 when I came back to visit. I took advantage and attended five sessions in five days from four instructors. The studio is clean and modern, and features a convenient mobile application for schedules and booking classes, small retail space with mostly women's yoga attire with creative messaging, a few changing stalls with curtains, a single shower room, a bathroom, and a heated practice space (89-92 F) that accommodates about 16 yogis in two rows. The practice space includes mirrors, rails, windows, and speakers, and blocks and straps are available at the door. The vibe was welcoming and inclusive, from my perspective as a straight white male practicing amid a predominantly female and entirely white clientele during my week there. The instruction was informed, attentive, encouraging, and personal, if mildly exhortational, and at times hands on, with roots in Bikram's series of Hatha poses (Japanese ham sandwich anyone--IDK, is there such a thing?) but also flow variations that were challenging and refreshing. I did indeed "sweat, shake, and flow," as advertised, even as a practiced yogi, mostly core 26, of 15 years. I did find it difficult to accustom myself to the loud, amplified mixes of mostly popular music that boomed over every class, including pre and post class time, as well as the amplified instruction at volume levels that were audibly distorted. I had to focus to cultivate a meditative, mind-body connection amid what amounted to much noise to me--which perhaps was a constructive challenge! Having not participated in Zumba, Spin, etc. I can only guess those are the sources of this vibe and that it appeals to many, though I would encourage the studio to make space occasionally for a quieter more contemplative practice. Tradition and variation I do appreciate, even though in this instance It didn't work too well for me personally at first. My only other quibble is with the use of word "tribe" in marketing, on shirts, etc., as the word carries much freight and IMHO ought not be used lightly, e.g. until one is ready to greet a Penobscot yogi with the phrase "welcome to our tribe." I  will definitely return to this studio, in fact tomorrow at 7 am!, while checking others in the area on my next visit. If you do too be prepared to get amped on yoga in a close room with good instructors and a positive community of yogis! More...

Tiffany and her team have cultivated the ultimate yoga/barre community. From the minute you walk through the door, you know you have found your "tribe". The classes are exactly what you need to start your day, perk up your lunch break, or relax after a long day at work. I can't wait to get back in class! More...

Already loving this little spot so much. The facility is clean, the instructors and owner are so kind, and the variety of classes offered is fairly expansive for a smaller studio. The contrast of fast paced as well as restorative classes really makes this something you can do “daily”! My schedule is filled with new options and I can’t wait to utilize my new membership! As a male, I felt extremely welcomed. I received lots of attention and felt comfortable throughout the entire class. They also sell men's workout gear, which I don't find in many studios so that was a bonus!

There is nothing not to love! You are greeted with a smile the minute you walk in, and are supported through the toughest parts of class, by both the instructors and fellow patrons. I look forward to my once (and sometimes twice!) daily practice. Highly recommend, you won't regret it! More...

Imagine you took ballet, added the isometric movements of pilates then incorporated 20 minutes of your favorite yoga poses - that's what we call barre! This is a heart-pumping, full-body sculpting class designed to raise your heart rate and build long lean muscle tone, while connecting your mind and body and maybe even helping you meet your new best friend. Our class will insert yoga based stretching between the peak working sections allowing you to lengthen out your muscles right after they've reached their shaking point. So come sculpt your body with us and soak in all the pigeon pose you can handle.

sweat + flow is our spin on a vinyasa/flow class. classes are set to music that will ebb and flow with your heart rate as we take you through breath work, sun salutations, yummy heart melting pose, and everything in between. So come find your groove, belt out a little Whitney Houston if it's in you and let your to-do list melt away as you carve out one hour just for you.

A 75-minute class with a sequence of poses that are supported by props to allow you to completely relax. The lights are dimmed to allow the body to come into a restful and relaxing state. Gentle twists, forward folds and backbends are included, all poses are seated.

Have you read the book Where the Wild Moms Are? Buti is their dance party. Complete with tribal dance, drumming on your mat, sweat dripping down your face and a whole lot of movements that bring love into your body. We've done a lot of fitness varieties, but there's nothing quite like Buti - and although you feel slightly insane while it's happening, you're thinking twice as hard about how you never want it to stop.

90 minutes of hot vibes for our sweat tribe! Come hydrated and get ready to sweat in our heated rooms that’ll leave you feeling detoxed and invigorated. This sequence is based on the 26+2 series but we added beats and a few postures to create our own sequence. Poses are synched with your breath, there’s a fun and challenging balancing series to add fire to your life. This sequence will leave you feeling perfectly balanced inside and out, from bottom to top - just like a japanese ham sandwich.

Healthy pregnancy. It can be a thing. Our owner personally did barre and yoga all the way up until week 39. Now, she was definitely not doing a whole lot towards the end but she did love the support, the community and some time to herself to move. Our prenatal classes start with some circle time, and then you'll move into positions that are safe for you during pregnancy. We're also taking it a step further and teaching you how to modify in our regularly scheduled classes so you feel confident coming in whenever it works best for you.
