Carmen was a dream to work with! We came to her without much direction other than colors we wanted to include and she ran with it. She created the most beautiful bouquets for myself, 6 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls. We also rented our centerpieces from her (cylinder vases, white candles and placed greenery) and they looked exactly how I was envisioning. She was so professional and had everything set up for the wedding so quickly on the day of! The thing that really blew me away was the hanging floral/greenery install that she created as our backdrop for the ceremony. I gave her a picture as inspiration and she exceeded all of my expectations when I saw it on the wedding day! We seriously loved it so much! Carmen took some simple ideas I had and ran with them, creating gorgeous bouquets, centerpieces, and a garland that only exceeded my expectations. Carmen did an AMAZING job with the flowers for our 4/15/17 wedding! I am so thankful I was referred to her by family and friends! Carmen brought my very vague vision to life and I couldn't have been more pleased! She was a champ in dealing with my often times being MIA and very distant from wedding planning due to a crazy work schedule. I loved meeting with her in person and felt really good about moving forward with The Cutting Garden. Carmen made it so easy, especially on the wedding day - I was able to source glass medicine bottles, wooden boxes, and mercury glass votives for the center pieces through her, she delivered the beautiful flowers, helped pin boutonnieres on the guys, and did the setup for the center pieces and miscellaneous other floral we had throughout the venue. By the time I got to the venue, it had been transformed into a beautiful scene straight out of a bridal magazine! I received so many compliments on how wonderful the flowers were. Carmen was also able to accommodate unique requests like including a small fishing lure in my husband's and our officiant's boutonnieres (I totally forgot I even asked for that! What a fun surprise! Hubs LOVED it) and creating a smaller version of the bridesmaids' bouquet for the junior bridesmaid (she felt so special knowing her bouquet was made especially for her!). Carmen also put me in touch with our day-of coordinator, which saved my sanity for sure! My wife and I are not flower people at al. We had no idea what we wanted, we had no idea how we wanted it, and we had no idea what to do for our big day. Then we found Carmen! She was able to assist us and lower our stress down dramatically. The flowers she picked out for us was perfect for our barn wedding. They were not a typical rose but rather a plethora of succulents and they were absoutly perfect. She will work with you in making your dream come true. Carmen is such a talented florist! I'm a wedding photographer and in the past few weeks, I have worked 2 weddings with her! The floral for these two weddings was completely opposite and I was so impressed with both designs! For one wedding, the couple only wanted ferns and greenery and Carmen nailed their vision so perfectly. For the second wedding, the couple wanted colorful, summery blooms and once again, Carmen knocked it out of the park! We used The Cutting Garden for our wedding on May 19th 2018. Carmen was absolutely AMAZING to work with and created the MOST BEAUTIFUL display of flowers I've ever seen in my life! ! Carmen was such a delight to work with, and did an absolutely fantastic job on the floral decor for our wedding on 6/8/18. I spoke with four different florists and after speaking with Carmen, it was one of the easiest decisions I made. I immediately felt like she just "got" me and what I had in mind. I didn't have a super specific vision, just a general idea of an overall look and feel, so I was giving whoever I chose a lot of freedom to make it come to life. I had no doubts about trusting Carmen to do that. She certainly didn't disappoint-the bouquets, corsages, bouts, and decor were spectacular and beyond my expectations! With some things, it's like she read my mind-I love orchids, but didn't mention them in our consults as I figured they would be too pricey. But I get my bouquet on the wedding day, and what is in it? Orchids! The size of the bouquets, even the bridesmaids', were substantial, the moms and special attendants commented on how they loved the bracelets that the corsages were mounted on, and I loved how Carmen brought extra greenery to help give the non-floral decor items just that extra special touch. Carmen with The Cutting Garden did flowers for my daughter's wedding and reception on 7/8/17. The flowers turned out absolutely better than we could have imagined, from the bouquets to the ceremony site to the reception and table decorations, everything was beyond amazing! Our guests are still talking about the beautiful flowers from the wedding! Carmen was so easy to work with, she was flexible and available throughout the whole planning process for questions by email, phone and in person, always responding back right away. From our first meeting with Carmen, my daughter and I knew we were in good hands, she is SO nice and easy to work with! We did not have a vision for our flowers and Carmen helped walk us through the process to help us figure out our vision and she sent pictures to us to make sure everything was exactly what we were visualizing! Very reasonably priced, Carmen was up front about prices from the beginning and suggested ways for us to save money by re-using garland and flower arrangements from the ceremony for the reception. Carmen worked with our decorator to help make the decorations even better with her touches of greenery and a spectacular display behind the head table that pulled our whole look together!
