The best salad I have ever had. Loved the fresh chicken added to my fresh salad complete with fresh apples, walnuts, and blue cheese. I sampled my husbands Italian sandwich. WOW! Great food. Ordered sandwiches after a visit to Kid City upon their recomendation as a food stop. Enjoyed our food very much. Ingredients were great quality from the bread all the way through. When you go into a place five minutes before they close and you get a smile and great service it makes you feel like the number one customer. Victoria, who attended me today, was beyond accommodating and hospitable. She made me a wonderful sandwich and had the best attitude despite it being so late. Hats off to the staff! I'm so glad Cooking Company brought their fresh cuisine to Middletown. I've frequented their locations in Killingworth and Haddam so I was super excited to see their name on the awning of this historic landmark. They always have so many yummy dishes to try and the menu changes daily with some standards you can always count on. My favorite cookie is the chocolate brownie cookie with walnuts. I'm not a big fan of walnuts but somehow, they have just enough to make every bite of this treat be the best of the cookie/brownie world. They also sell foodie specialty items for gift-giving.
