What do you love most about your job?
Bridging the gap between the human and their dog, watching the Light bulbs go on for all involved parties.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The current climate of dog training in the United States especially is pretty scary! Dog owners do not know how to navigate this arena as there is a flood of training techniques and methods that highlight aversive methods that will ultimately harm the human dog bond. I want to be a beacon for methods that work and do so in a manner that will strengthen the human dog bond as well as allow these two species to understand one another and therefore respect one another.
Why should our clients choose you?
There are only a handful of certified trainers through Turid Rugaas' school in the United States. Her methods work so well while never harming the dog or the relationship between the dog and human, and yet they are simple too! This training isn't the type of quick fix that some places advertise...it can be fast, but it also goes deep and is not superficial or breaking the spirit of the dog which is absolutely inexcusable in the name of "training." If a dog trainer resorts to aversive devices such as prong, choke, or e-collars, run as far as possible from these trainers and never look back. They mean to hook you in and literally place hooks in your dog to break them to obey....this is not real training but abuse that is totally unnecessary. I fully endorse and utilize Turid's training methods and ways 100%, so a client can be assured that they are doing the best for their dog which is ultimately doing themselves a big favor for the lifetime of their relationship with their dog.

Dog training consults can be done remotely and online via zoom if needed. Consults by phone also usually work, and are how any animal communication work is done. Dog training locally in person is best though!
