Came here for my anniversary , and it was fantastic! Great to have restaurants that use locally sourced , organic ingredients. I had the buttermilk fried quail appetizer which I'm still thinking about, and the pan roasted duck. My husband had the Chef's Tasting where the chef selects your 5 course meal, and he absolutely loved every dish. Staff and service was highly enjoyable. Loved it, and am excited to come back. The Chefs Table catered my 50th birthday celebration this past weekend and everything about them was outstanding! Carra took such great care of us from the start, she was quick to respond to all of our requests, even getting two tables for us literally at the last minute. The food was incredible, they took care of everything from start to finish, even making sure my boyfriend and I had something to eat. Second time in a week visiting and both times have been amazing. The food is incredible (try the pork chop, you will thank me later) and desserts to die for.  Service is top notch and the wait staff are there to take care of your every need and request. Found on yelp at 4.5 stars and pulled in when i was passing through from out of town. I believe 4.5 to be accurate. Deceiving to me from outside but great place and I'd go back. Fritto Misto and deviled egg appetizers eggcellent. Hanger steak great, roasted cauliflower undercooked and too raw, crunchier then should be. Glass of wine $15 which i don't usually care about but when the entree is only $18 it seems a little disproportionate to me on lunch menu. I ordered anyway as i thought the Malbec would compliment the steak, which it did. Service great, in and out no issues, would go back. More...

We reserved a table for Easter Dinner.  It's a cute restaurant, cozy and nicely decorated.We had the set menu; appetizer, entree and dessert.  Each course had four choices.I had the quail appetizer and it was delicious.  Fried and nicely seasoned.  For my main course I had the salmon filet with spinach and pea and crepe brûlée for dessert.  Portions were just the right size.  Good coffee too.  The server was very attentive and took good care of us.  I would go back.  I think everyone enjoyed the meal.  I would suggest making a reservation for this restaurant. This was our first but most certainly not our last dining experience at this intimate gem!  I called and spoke to Lauren to inquire about reservations and menu; she was warm and informed.   Upon our arrival this farm to table restaurant had warm inviting decor.  We asked Lauren for recommendations and were pleased with the freshest garden salad and the corn-peach salad were so palate pleasing.  The homemade pasta was light it was impossible to leave a morsel.  The portions were not intimidating and we somehow managed to share two sweet desserts that were a perfect finish to a wonderful meal.  Compliments to the chef and staff.  Bravo!!!! I consider myself to be a foodie and will travel far for great food. Luckily, I don’t have to. The Chef’s Table is 10 minutes from home and it is top notch. My guest and I each ordered the Chef’s Tasting which is 5 courses (Chef’s choice) barring your preferences. O-M-G. The courses were perfectly sized and presented so you didn’t leave overly stuffed and could enjoy each course. So between myself and my guest we tried TEN different menu items! Each one better than the next. Our server, True was fantastic and didn’t skip a beat. The flow of the courses was perfect. My compliments to the chef. This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. Every dish we ordered was prepared carefully with a variety of flavors. The portions were perfect for tapas style dining. I was surprised to find this kind of restaurant in such a small town. The service was great, and the atmosphere was clean and warm. 2nd time here.   Yeah it's good!Organic Chicken cooked under a brick, stone ground creamy polenta and sautéed spinach. Maple agrodulce. So good!The chicken was perfectly crispy and the polenta was so creamy with so much taste.The staff here are wonderful. We tried this restaurant for the first time last night and it has become my new "most favorite restaurant ever"! From the Braised Short Rib Poutine appetizer to the Butternut Squash-filled Ravioli and Beet Pappardelle, we were in culinary heaven. With just the right amount of herbs and seasonings, every bite was blissful. We tried the Macaroons for dessert and were not disappointed with the light, airy, just sweet enough, tasty confections. I am probably one of the most picky eaters. I've never liked seafood. This dinner is hands down the best food I've ever had the pleasure to eat. Everything was absolutely excellent. The beet burgers, scallop, crispy pork belly, hanger steak and ribs were beyond exceptional!!!! The Chef’s Table catered the passed hors d’ouvres for the cocktail hour at our wedding in July. I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing it was to work with them, from before we even hired them, to the last minute they left the event. Carra and the staff she brought were truly a class act. They were punctual, professional, personable, attentive and responsive. During a stressful day, and without our even asking, several of their staff jumped right in to help with some of the last minute preparations of the wedding venue; they went above and beyond to make sure our event went off without a hitch- even when it wasn’t their job to do so. The staff’s attention to detail did not go unnoticed or unappreciated, as so many of our guests commented on their amazing service and food. As for the food....Try the beet burgers and the Smoky Eggplant Cigars; you won’t be able to have just one. A week after our wedding we went into the actual restaurant for dinner and drinks. Having never eaten there, we found more of the same professional service and delicious and original foods with a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The prices for both the catering services and the dinner at the restaurant were very reasonable. In my opinion, the stellar service and positive attitudes of their staff is refreshing and worth every penny when compared to many other area catering companies who seem to lack common decency and only care about making as much money on your event as possible. We had a wonderful dinner experience tonight. I can't say enough about the entrees we ordered. Some of the appetizers we jointly agreed could use more seasoning - the fried green tomato appetizer had a nice tempura type crust on the tomato and the chimichurri  (sp) was flavorful but the cheese n batter needed salt.  The watermelon salad said it came w a jalapeño vinaigrette but it was undetectable.   Still the seafood malfatti, the short rib, and the red snapper special were outstanding.  The parsnip purée I could swim in. The Pinot noir by the glass was exceptional for a by the glass wine. We ended w the macrons.   The flavor was strong but they were too cold and could have used a little time coming to room temp.
