Lovely old inn. Kathy and Tommy were gracious hosts. Great location close to downtown Hendersonville. Delicious breakfast! My only suggestion is to install a firmer mattress. Our room had high quality pillows and sheets but the mattress was best suited for one person. Ever time my husband turned over I was tossed about. More...

My husband and I stayed here for an overnight getaway to Hendersonville. This was our first bed-and-breakfast experience, and we were very pleased with our choice of The Charleston Inn. The house itself is full of charm, and our room (215) was equally charming, beautiful, clean, and cozy. The dining area is spacious. We were given a choice of two breakfast meals in the morning, and both were delicious. The inn is in a fabulous location, as once we parked our car there, we did not need to move it. The inn is a short and safe walking distance to breweries, restaurants, and shops. We would eagerly stay at The Charleston Inn again on our next trip to Hendersonville. More...

There aren't enough words to explain how much I love this special place! My husband and I came here after we got engaged in 2017, then visited again after our wedding last year and celebrated our one year anniversary this past weekend :)

The first thing that I adore about The Charleston Inn is how beautiful the whole building is. We always come after Thanksgiving so the entire place is decked out in beautiful Christmas decorations. It's a perfect way to start the Christmas spirit! We have stayed in three different rooms and each one has been very cozy, extremely clean, and had its own private bathroom.

Another great benefit is the breakfast and entertainment hour that is included. The breakfast room is so quaint (and also covered in Christmas decor which is lovely for a holiday fanatic like myself) and the food is spectacular. There is a nice coffee bar and an assortment of juices. Later in the evening you can grab some snacks and a glass of wine and meet the other guests of the Inn!

My favorite thing, however, is far and away the customer service. Last year when we visited the owners found out we were there to celebrate our marriage and made us a special platter of chocolate covered strawberries. This year they called while we were at dinner and let us know they were closing the desk before we arrived so they set up a special plan for us to get to our rooms without even checking in. These people care very deeply for their guests and it has become a very sentimental place for me and my husband. If you don't stay here while you're in Hendersonville, you're truly missing out! Our stay last weekend was a pleasant surprise!!! We were suppose to stay 2 nights at another B&B that was closer to town, but that establishment was full by the time we made our reservations. Guest at "the other" B&B were friends of ours, as we were all in town for a wedding. We were at first disappointed that we would not be staying with everyone else. Let me just say that based on the reviews from many staying at the other establishment, we were lucky that there was no room at THAT Inn. As it turned out, there were a few more couples that were lucky enough to be booked at The Charleston. :)The Charleston Inn is warm and inviting. As were the proprietors. The gathering rooms and dining room are large and decorated very nicely. Complimentary alcoholic drinks and lite appetizers were served each afternoon. There are snacks, water, coffee and tea available 24/7. The included breakfast is a special treat. We were offered our choice of different entrees each morning of our stay. Some of the choices were Eggs Benedict, waffles, French toast, scrambled eggs, along with a fruit and yogurt parfait. And the best grits ever! Our room was a King Mini Suite on the 3rd floor. Easily walk-able, and quiet. Mattresses and bedding were brand new and very comfortable. We had a large shower with 2 shower heads. Our closet was a walk-in large enough to hold an extra bed for a third person and still have room to move around. It was like a second bedroom! We very much enjoyed our stay at The Charleston and hope to return in the near future. More...

I spent one night here. This is a cozy and quaint b&b with a great location for exploring historic main street Hendersonville. The old house is full of antiques and has a homey feel. The rooms are well decorated and have nice amenities. Showers are a bit cramped, but it is to be expected in this type of lodging. Sadly my nextdoor neighbors had their TV very loud all day and it went right through to my room - not a lot of soundproofing in the old house. The street out front can be loud in the AM...try to get a room facing the back. I also booked a massage through the hotel - unfortunately, my experience was not so good..the room in the hotel where they give massages is also loud and I couldn't relax while hearing people right outside the room. The wi-fi wasn't working and the irked masseuse had to turn off the chill music...so it was sort of a wasted effort...I'd suggest a massage in town. More...
