Q&As

I love meeting new people. I am a people person and enjoy hearing your story and learning about you in all ways possible. I love the moment the shift happens in the session. I love when you feel lighter by the end of the session. That's always my goal - to help you feel lighter.

I also love being a guide. I take my clients through a process I call The Process of Embodiment. Here is what it will look like to work with me:

Phase 0: Unawareness - This is when you are unaware of your challenges. You don't know what you don't know. You keep butting up against life and are confused, depressed, anxious, and carry the grief of not knowing how to make a change.

Phase 0.5: Willingness - A life event, or an awakening happens (a death, job loss, relationship ends, relocation, health scare, etc), and this 'wakes you up' to want to make a change. You step into williness when you start to become OPEN to change.

Phase 1: Awareness - This is when you start to become aware of your challenges in a clearer way. You still don't know what to do about them but you are able to see them for what they are, have a desire to make a change, and embody a new way of living.

Phase 2: Understanding - This is often where clients come into my world. After becoming aware of their challenges, they want to understand them so they can do things differently. As you tell your story and we peel back the layers, I help you see things in a new light so you can approach your challenges in more creative ways.

Phase 3: Experimenting - This is the fun part! The action. The movement. After you understand your challenges better it only makes sense to approach them in a new way. I help give you ideas on what to experiment on so you can learn more about yourself and see what works for you. This is where you break the pattern and try something NEW. New action leads to new results. I teach you tools and you see which ones work best for you.

Phase 4: Assessment - Between sessions I invite you to fill out a Progress Form. In this form, you share your take-aways from the previous sessions, your celebrations, your current challenges and what you want to try differently moving forward. This information will help you prepare for the session. Taking a moment to step back and assess how your experiments went (or didn't!) is great information for you and me to make sure you're on the right path. My intention is to always lead you back to your intuition. This assessment will help you strengthen your connection to your INNER guide so you can learn what it feels like to be on the right path for YOU.

Phase 5: Embodiment/Celebration - Did you know that change is so very quiet? When change happens there are no fireworks or awards. Change is one of the most subtle things and can go completely unnoticed. Having a space like the one I provide will help you celebrate and see a birds eye view of your progress so you can build moment and keep going. Embodiment is the stage when you slip into the new way of BEING. The way you've been asking for. When you look back, you'll be shocked at how you don't recognize yourself (only in positive ways) b/c the challenges that once occupied all of your time and energy are long gone. This is the place I want to help bring you, over and over again as your vision for life continues to expand until you get to a place of life satisfaction and can appreciate each moment as it is.

To be honest, there were no 'jobs' for life coaches when I started this path 13 years ago! I also enjoy the flexibility to choose my own hours, professionally grow in the direction I want to move into when I need a change, and the limitless possibilities for what I can teach, who I can work with, and where I can work (in person or remotely, individual sessions, groups, retreats, etc.)

Listen to your intuition. Trust it. If you feel I am the person to work with you, great! If not, that's okay too. I will do my best to convey myself and what to expect in our work together, and its your job to follow your gut. That is where I will meet you.

Yes, currently I am only available remotely. Before your session you will receive a Zoom link where we will be meeting. Please plan to start promptly at your scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your session without notice, your session will be cancelled.

Working remotely provides greater access to helping you get the support you need. As long as you have a strong internet connection, you can live in a rural area and still get the support you need. Stay home if that makes you feel safe. Grab a blanket and stay in your PJs. I want you to feel comfortable in our sessions and just be yourself.

Services

Gain clarity on what feels most important in your life right now. Remove roadblocks that slow you down and prevent you from moving towards actualizing your goals. Learn to listen to your intuition for each next light step. Assess and see what is working and not working. Keep taking the next light step. Celebrate and be witnessed; feel supported so you can build momentum and see your goals come to life.

EFT or tapping is an evidence based practice that helps reduce overwhelming emotions, trauma, and intrusive thoughts. It has been shown to help with burnout in professionals and is easy to learn. Working with an EFT practitioner allows you to address deeper layers that you may not let yourself access alone. My goal is to help you feel safe when feeling and expressing your emotions. Emotional dysregulation is a major influencer of addiction. When we feel overwhelmed by our emotions, we usually go to a familiar coping mechanism (social media scrolling, food, alcohol, smoking, gaming, fantasizing, etc.). EFT is like a faucet knob - it allows you to adjust the intensity of the emotions you feel and is especially helpful for you if you are a strong and deep feeler. In my experience, has been one of the best tools for managing challenging emotions (and intrusive thoughts!).

Every session, I start with either a guided meditation or a somatic experiencing exercise to help you come back into your body. Presence is the key to unlocking your intuition. But when we feel overwhelmed, experience chronic stress or our threat response is consistently triggered, we often feel the need to ‘escape’ or leave our body by ruminating about past interactions or anxiously hyperfixation on future events we have no control over. Coming back into presence through meditation and somatic exercises will help you reconnect with your intuition so you can gain clarity on what your next light step is.
