Rave reviews!! All the guests were asking who the caterer was!!From start to finish the service was outstanding.  We contacted and consulted with Michaela who guided us through creating a menu which really was exactly what we wanted.  She was amazing with flexibility tweaking the overall plan.  I would have a detailed amended proposal within hours so I was always sure where I stood on the budget.The food was delivered exactly on time. I worked with The Catering Gourmet for my 4/7/18 wedding and choosing them was my absolute best decision. I will start off by saying that Michaela, the Catering Manager that we worked with, was AMAZING. We told her we wanted food with a Latin American flair and she came up with the most incredible menu. She let us customize everything so it was exactly how we wanted, which is so different than all of the other caterers we spoke to that only offered "cookie cutter packages". Throughout the entire planning process Michaela was so responsive and helpful, I really can't praise her enough. Now for the food itself...it was INCREDIBLE. The presentation, taste, everything! We are still getting compliments from our guests on how unique and delicious the food was. Instead it rained, but they stayed cool and professional and shuttled food and servings in and out of the tent we had, setting up the tables and everything to accommodate last-minute rain-related changes. Michaela was the lead we worked with and she was terrific -- responding promptly and completely to our questions and making all necessary arrangements -- she even coordinated the flow of events during the wedding. Oh, and the food -- it was wonderful, and praised by many guests. We loved that they offered some off-beat options, too, such as coffee milk shake and clamcake/chowder hors d'oeuvres. Catering Gourmet recently catered our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome! The food is a memorable part of the wedding for your guests and you really want it to be incredible and satisfying ! We had a large amount of different dietary needs and there was something for everyone to enjoy.
All of our wedding menu options from the appetizers to dinner, were not only amazing but also interactive, unique, and was a hit with everyone that attended!
Joanie was awesome! She was always there to answer the phone or email, was very helpful with suggestions and planning and was always bubbly, happy and such a pleasure to work with.

As a company we order lunch for our employees every Friday. Catering Gourmet has been part of our rotation for years. The food is incredible, an extensive online menu and very accommodating with whatever I may need or like to substitute. Fresh, hot food is delivered on time, every time! We do the Taco Bar every 3 months and do not prefer the rice that is included so it's substituted for rice pilaf which is much better. We've also ordered sandwich platters and pizzas which are delicious. Nothing negative to say and highly recommend! More...

The Catering Gourmet catered my best friend's backyard and absolutely beautiful wedding in September. They were extremely accommodating, they set up while we were at the ceremony site so everything was totally ready when we arrived at the beach house venue. The food tasted amazing!! I have nothing but praise for The Catering Gourmet! This past weekend, we had a "Sprinkle"  and the wonderful staff at The Catering Gourmet accommodated our special needs(vegan). We were supplied us with delish assorted wraps,a garden salad,Tuscan pasta salad, hand cut potato chips , grilled flatbreads and assorted tapenades, humus - and a fab Gorgonzola gravy!!! Catering Gourmet was the perfect choice for our wedding day. From start to finish the staff was incredible and easy to work with. We began our interactions by meeting with the owner and explaining the mood we were trying to create at our wedding. He was sensitive to all of wants and needs and also had great suggestions. He really knows food and helped guide us through the menu creating process in a seamless, efficient and affordable way. Catering Gourmet also worked with other local vendors to get specific items we desired. On the day of the wedding they executed their plan perfectly and our guests are still talking about how great the food tasted. Catering Gourmet is the best quality food for the best prices. We had an outdoor wedding with a hors d'oeuvre station that included flatbreads and tapenades along with lemonade, ice tea, and cucumber water. For lunch we had a buffet style taco & fajita bar. Catering Gourmet also provided linens, glasses, bartenders, staff and an event manager. They were easy to work with on the front end, though the person who took all our info and coordinated what we wanted was not able to be present on the day of the event. Nonetheless, set-up seemed to go smoothly. My only complaint was the bar staff. They were friendly and cordial guys, but we were paying them a decent hourly wage and I didn't appreciate the two tip jars they put out front and center on the bar. It made the guests feel as though they were required to pay for drinks. My best friend, who is a restaurant manager for a celebrity chef in Boston and was helping me on the day, asked them to keep the tip jars behind the bar so they could just put the tips into it when folks tipped. Kevin & Barry, Thank you for make my mother-in-law’s 90th Birthday so special. It worked out perfectly and everyone raved about the food. It was delicious and Nick was FABULOUS! Keep him around. He was great, my family loved him. I did not have to worry about anything and Nick truly made the day enjoyable for me so that I could talk with family we never get to see. Evan out did himself on the food, the antipasto was a huge HIT and they loved it! I have some pictures of it and will send it. Nick attention to detail made the antipasto platter look like a feast for a king. I cannot say what was the best because it was all so good! The pistachio encrusted chicken was to die for, the phyllo wrapped blue cheese, brandy and orange – oh my gosh soooooo good! The stuffed mushrooms were the best my husband ever had (and he is a chef) and the pasta was so good. It worked out perfectly having the food come fresh and then Nick did his magic and cooked them up. The pink vodka/sausage pasta ---- keep the recipe it is so heavenly and I don’t even like sausage! My wedding was on March 21, 2009 and I started working with Barry at Atomic about one year prior. To start off, the food was amazing-Evan, our chef, made the most delicious stuffed mushrooms, crab rangoon, chicken, lobster ravioli, and clam chowder. ..we are still getting compliments from our guests. He also threw in some clamcakes for free because he had leftover batter from another event the day before. This was an awesome surprise. Second, the price was significantly cheaper than other catering companies that we looked into-clearly, without sacrificing the quality of food or service. Third, Barry Bowman was great to work with. Everything was set up and served just as I had wanted...and when there was a small glitch (the venue did not have enough chairs for the ceremony outside), Barry asked my husband, ""What do you want us to do. I'll make it happen."" Throughout the whole planning process, Barry was in constant contact with myself and the other vendors involved in the event. Mark, our party planner, was also attentive to us and easy to work with on the day of our wedding. I could go on and on about how happy I am with choosing Atomic catering. I really cannot say enough good things about Atomic Catering. They did a wonderful job with my wedding from start to finish. The food at my wedding was amazing and the suggestions that Barry and Kevin gave me with the food and decor were great! I researched and met with many of the RI caterers before choosing Atomic. It is true that Atomic offered the best pricing, but I chose them based on the quality of food, service, and reputation. As for the bad reviews below, I seem to think that may be one ""bridezilla"" posing as different brides to give Atomic a bad rep for whatever reason.
