Saw "Just Us" Christmas review last night and they were fabulous! The group is composed of four remarkably talented individuals who sing and dance their way through two hours of Christmas fun- I hated for the show to end! I saw them perform in Palm Springs last year and decided to travel to Montclair for their Christmas show. We had a wonderful time at the canyons, we saw The group called just us they did a Christmas show, it was awesome. They have great food there, a place to gather with your family and just relax. The group was outstanding I wouldn't miss any of their shows. They are across from Manhattan transfer and Broadway. Venue: 4.5: Newer facility. Nicely appointed and decorated. Great seats with excellent view of the stage. I like the fact that unlike many other similar venues you buy your seat on a map and are guaranteed the view that you have selected. No need to rush there early, stand in a line, and then scramble for seats! Two well-stocked full bars. The Canyon Santa Clarita is conveniently located near one of the entrances of the Westfield Valencia Town Center shopping mall. Free self parking is plentiful. Service: 3: Can be hit or miss. 3 is the average for our multiple visits. Service at our last visit rates a 5. Our sever Bran was wonderful; polite, friendly, and efficient.Drinks: 4: Two well-stocked full bars as well as table service. Nice specialty drinks. We had the Phil Collins and the house Old-Fashioned and both were very good. The beers are nice and cold. No beers on tap.Food: 3.5: Some items are pretty good and some are not as good. The Filet Mignon's quality and taste are very good, but sometimes it comes out slightly undercooked or overcooked. It was perfect the last time. We do not like the chicken. The Ribeye is huge but I prefer the Filet. All the desserts are very good. The salad was quite good but small. They offer 3 set menus (Salad/entree/dessert) at $29, $39, or $49, but all items are also available a'la carte. They used to carry quite a few appetizers which were pretty good also, but last time I was there they were not on the menu. When I inquired, our server said that the menu can change depending on the event but I can't vouch for that.Pricing: 4: Show, food, and drink prices are reasonable and on par with similar places. You pay for the admission and also have to purchase a per person minimum of food and/or drinks.I regularly visit Canyon's venues in Agoura (the original), Santa Clarita, Pasadena (called The Rose) and Montclair. They also operate the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, the Starlight Bowl in Burbank, and the Libbey Bowl in Ojai. More often than not, the same artists perform at multiple Canyon venues and you can choose which one to attend based on your schedule and proximity. This is great. Most shows do not have a minimum age as long as the youngster is accompanied by an adult, but be aware that it gets quite loud inside, and always check with the venue just in case your specific show has an age restriction. Seating, service, food and drinks are quite similar among the 4 locations. All and all, the Canyon venues are a nice choice for reasonably priced, convenient music entertainment. More...

We went back to The Canyon to eat yesterday at about 6pm.  It was quite quiet there and we were served by a friendly waitress (Kerry).  I had grilled shrimp tacos which were very delicious and, I thought, a reasonable price and also an icy, bubbly Prosecco.  My hubby had the chicken mozzarella tomato on ciabatta with the most delicious chips ("french fries", I think you call them)  We met Brandon, the bartender, who was really nice and JoJo who works there too, who's an absolute delight!  What fun we had!  We are looking forward to the upcoming Christmas Show! Today we went to the Canyon box office in Santa Clarita for the first time we were greeted by Jessica Cardenas she was extremely helpfully she was so sweet and friendly. She explained how everything worked even showed us inside and helped us pick good seats! Good customer service is very rare these days but not at the Canyon box office. Went recently to the new Canyon venue to see a show. We got tickets at a table and we're going to have dinner. They stuffed us at a table that was over crowded and I was pushed to the end with about 8 inches of table. Tough to eat a steak with that much room. The venue is beautiful and the sound system is remarkable. The appetizers were awful and the service was as bad. Watch your bill, we had ours screwed up along with some other peoples. Hoping they get their management on the ball soon because they have some really good acts lined As a follow up to my previous review, we went to The Canyon recently and were very happy to see that they had worked on the serving and organization. Was very pleased with our server and bartender. We went with the round tables to the side which were much easier to eat at. I ran into a manager on the way out and told him what a great night we had and he could not have been nicer!Great job! See you soon More...

Not really sure why so many people thinks this place sucks? We went to see "Sweet" the original band and they were AWESOME! They even sighed our albums!! No issues, no problems! I don't want to say anything more because this is a gem & the fewer go here for shows the better for any I want to attend. Was so close to Sweet tonight I walked right up to the stage. Okay no more "I got you" if you want to see a show here. I will be glad to let you in on a few secrets, and yes if you love someone who's performing here defiantly make plans with friends to see the show. Spacious venue with a nice floor for dance events but ordinary canned domestic beer is $15 when other venues typically charge $8 for imported bottled beer.  Can't blame them since rent must be mind blowing for that size space inside mall.  Just hope they find a nice balance to keep people coming. Really cool venue where you can get up close and personal with the bands. The sound is great, the food is decent, but my only complaint is that when they sell a lot of tickets, they pack you in like sardines and it takes a while to get out. Hopefully they never have a fire or any other emergency where people need to get out quickly. They do get all of the best bands that are still touring, but doing smaller shows now More...

I never write reviews but I just love this place! There is no where close to see bigger bands by me and this is the place! Whether it is some of the best cover bands you have ever seen (Queen Nation) or just some amazing 70's( Boogie Knights) or 80's (Spazmatics) this is absolutely the best place to be!And to make the great even better, Gus de La Pena ( manager, amazing  bartender and jack of all trades) always greats everyone with a smile! There can be 30 people in line waiting for drinks and he serves then up within minutes! Super pro behind the bar and always makes sure to take care of anyone! I love the Canyon Club, it's our favorite local go-to! Where else in L.A. can you see great big time 80's & 90's bands in a small venue? I've seen Warrant, Skid Row, Ratt, Great White, Dokken, Quiet Riot, Queensrych, the list goes on and on!! Also, great tribute bands like Queen Nation, DSB the Journey tribute band, Purple Rain, etc.  Seeing Boogie Nights is a not to miss experience!!!  It's big enough to attract great bands, with an intimate club feeling.Pro tip: once you walk in, go straight to the bartender with the big smile on the right at the bar, Gus de la Pena!! He will take GREAT care of you!!  A super nice guy and a pro cocktail artiste!!The parking is so easy, and free!!2nd Pro Tip: If you buy tickets and you know it's a sold out show, get there really early and skip the line! We went to see the Motels here last night. I love this venue! Great acoustics and seating. We sat at a table in the back and would hope for these seats again. It looks like the floor seating is wider than before and they added an area where many people enjoyed dancing. The groups were great, all seem to be really having fun. I especially liked the second group with the great singer, but didn't catch the name. I love Martha Davis and she did not disappoint. Seriously, something for just about anyone here. Thanks to Jake at the Santa Clarita cyn, for you get a 5 star rating. Our show was cancelled 4 days before the show. I don't think it was handled real well on there part. Getting my full refund was a bit of a challenge,  once Jake the manager read my email, he promptly got back to me and said come on down and get your full refund and comped tix, also gave me cellphone  #. Went down and met with him personally,  got the rest of my refund and comped me well with some really nice tix, Jake you handled it like a pro, all I can say to everyone that tix are alot cheaper with cash, BUT make sure you get a receipt for the total paid, not the price on the tix. First things first, the initial interaction with Brandon at will call was one that absolutely prompted me to recommend friends and family to come enjoy the venue simply because the staff is all about making sure you are comfortable and able to enjoy whatever show you may be visiting for. Cheers to you Brandon thank you and thank you as well to the very kind hostess.The venue (staff aside) is nice, cozy, and has a well stocked bar. While I did not get the chance to try any of their food I will say the presentation of it is A+ on the plate. Do NOT come here thinking you're not going to spend money, you will.,....but chances are (if you're as lucky as me) you will have a great show(Poncho Sanchez is AMAZING) with great company, and enjoy a couple good drinks. The lighting is on the dim side but may be according to whatever genre of music is being belted out by the talent. OH and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Bottom line.... Good place to hang out and see a concert.  Drinks are a little pricey, but aren't they pricey at most places !  You pay for what you get, the ambiance is nice and the price of tall can beer is about what you would pay at a Dodger game.  Sound is amazing and I enjoy seeing concerts at these smaller venues.  We will be back! This is a very nice venue. It has an intimate setting similar to Improv or HOB which makes for a great show. There were sound issues in the beginning which was frustrating but once that was worked out I enjoyed it. This was our first time at The Canyon. We have been to shows at the other two locations, ( Agoura Hills and Pasadena) but had not made it to the Canyon yet. Therefore, we knew how the evening works with dinner hour and drinks. Adriana was our server. And we were the lucky ones! Adriana has that rare skill of being personable, but not intrusive. She was a delight, always there when we needed something, friendly, great attitude, professional, and she hustled to make sure all her patrons were well taken care of, but never seemed rushed. It has been awhile since we had a server with that perfect blend of making you feel welcome without being overly attentive! She's a natural for sure and a huge part of what became a really spectacular evening! The food was surprisingly good, hot, and generous portion. We had the Bar B Cue Salmon, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The garden salad was a nice healthy spring mix and not overly drenched in dressing. The meal was flavorful, but not over salted or fatty. Drinks were a healthy pour. Beer was really cold. Perfect mix of food and drink. The sound quality was awesome, as well. We expected this from seeing shows at the other locations. My husband and I have been enjoying the food, drinks and entertainment at The Canyon for the past year! Since our first time there, we were lucky to have Brandon take care of us, he was soo nice and went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying our time! We like the venue, but will only be seated in Brandon's area since he makes our visit extremely pleasant! We have taken many of our friends there and have introduced them to Brandon because we know that he will take excellent care of them!! We love Brandon he is an amazing person and the Canyon is lucky to have him in their staff!Brandon makes our time so special that The Canyon has become our date night place for my husband and I, we go there at least once or twice a month! I enjoyed seeing the Linecutters and Black Flag on Friday, September 20th. I paid for a seat near the stage and enjoyed it very much, although I did stand for part of the show. I ordered a mixed drink that was well prepared and a ribeye steak that was also very well prepared; cooked as ordered, rare, well seasoned, and tender.The side dishes, asparagus and mashed potatoes were fine. The service was  excellent. The drink came out quickly and the food came out within 20 minutes. I ordered a glass of house red wine and it was served before I had taken more than a bite or two of my steak. The show started 15 minutes early, Hurray! The acoustics were great. The bands were visible. The only drawback is that the restrooms are located out in the mall and one gets wanded for metal/weapons every time one enters the venue. This is a very pleasant music venue. Date night at the Canyon Club, if you want great music and want the club atmosphere you need to go! Sit or stand just feet away from the artist! So here is the skinny you can buy your tickets inside at the window, they charge there price and a service charge and a 25 dollar min per customer if you want to sit a table. So basically your 40 dollar tickets are going to run you short of a 100 almost the same price as dinner and a movie, but this is much better in my opinion. You can use your 25 per on food and drinks. The food is okay and the service is not a issue. They really try to make it a memorable experience. Over the years we've seen some great entertainers. Parking is not a issue there is a big lot to park and it's free. So go see you favorite band if they are playing ! We had a young host by the name of Madison and she was very friendly and helpful. Coming from out of state, I had a great experience. The band that I saw wasn't necessarily my genre of music, but i was more impressed by the customer service from the employees working there. Mainly, Keri, my server. She was super attentive and made an exuberant experience for myself, and the group I came along with. Don't expect fancy cocktails from a place that isn't fine dining. Considerably one of the most casual venues I've been to. We're all here for the same reason right? To see live music and eat great food! The customer service is exceptional and I got to see one of my favorite bands of all time, Black Flag. Not bad for a new spot to be hosting such an incredible group of performers.
