I just had my first visit to The Brass Pickle Deli today, in spite of reading some of the negative Google reviews. I am wise enough to know that you can NOT please nor make everybody happy NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. I also know that unfortunately, sometimes a few negative comments/remarks will seem to stick out farther than a whole lot of positive comments. Therefore since I know this, I decided to check out The Brass Pickle Deli for myself because the good comments out weighted the bad ones and 4 ½ stars is no joke. I have to say that I am so glad that I did NOT allow the negative comments deter me from going. I walked in and the place is not very big, but nice and very clean. No one was at the counter when I first walked in; but, however, once I was notice the young lady came to the counter and greeted me. She was very friendly and professional. While receiving my sandwich it was delivered to me with a smile and a thank you for coming. Now for my opinion regarding the sandwich; it was AMAZINGLY tasteful and moist, and the bread was very soft. Excellent sandwiches are normally hard to come by but not at The Brass Pickle. I ordered the Club and my friend ordered another specialty sandwich. We exchanged half a sandwich with each other in order to share our experience. Both sandwiches were delicious! They also carried a great ginger beer (no alcohol, strong, spicy ginger beer). Me and my husband came to visit for the first time after learning about this best of the desert spot! I got the "ol' sea dog which btw was so full of flavor and the size of it was so filling, Yet still so light and fresh. My husband got the Cubano sandwhich and plowed right through it happily. Nice clean, well-maintained place with a lot of sandwiches selections. They also sell bottle pop and have a lot of flavors and still have the fountain drinks and ice tea.
