We got married on October 4, 2019, at the Bond, and we had an incredible experience from the planning to our actual wedding. Megan, Venue Specialist, worked with our planner to make our wedding more than we could have ever imagined. We live in Baltimore, but it was worth the drive to the Bond! The food with JDK is great and the menu is customizable. They even allowed us to include our 13-year old Pomeranian in our ceremony. I began planning our wedding with noooo idea on how to even begin. We knew we found a beautiful venue (The Bond Events- York, PA), but everything else was left to imagination. We worked with Megan who was the Venue Specialist and all I can say is-WOWWWW, she rocked! She made the entire process feel effortless and took a huge role in making our big day happen. Her bubbly personality, sincerity, knowledge, and flexibility gave us such a great experience. She was easily accessible, kind, and deserves national recognition for all that she does! We are continuously hearing from our guests how beautiful the venue space was and how amazing and attentive ALL of the staff were! The staff truly exceeded all of our expectations and deserve the highest recognition possible. There is no doubt in my mind that we picked thee best place to have our wedding and will remember all of the wonderful experiences we had! The Bond will always hold a huge place in my heart! More...

If it were possible to give The Bond 10 STARS we would. My husband and I chose The Bond for its location and style but we got so much more than that. Megan was beyond amazing and helped us with everything, from the big things all the way down to the little things. We didn't feel an ounce of stress when working with Megan and her team and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. The Bond took care of everything the day of and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The food (provided by JDK Group) was amazing, by far the best food wedding food we've ever had. The Bond ensured that the guests were taken care of as well as my husband and I. We have had so many people complement us on our wedding, specifically the venue. We got married at The Bond this past October 6th, 2018, and we cannot speak highly enough of Abby, Megan and team. First of all, the space is beautiful in its own way - we looked everywhere in Central PA for a venue that would be unique, contemporary, not-a-hotel (we didn’t want a “hotel wedding”) or not-a-farm (we aren’t farm/country people), haha! The Bond was a perfect fit for our style and our wish to find a more urban setting. Unlike other couples, both my fiancé and I were equally active in choosing all of our wedding details. My husband was super excited about The Bond - the garage door that divides the cocktail hour space and the ceremony space was just way too perfect to pass as he’s a huge car guy. :-) We didn’t want a formal reception by any means and tossed away seating charts, seating down dinner time and a lot of other formalities that’s simply (for us) got in the way of partying, and Abby and Megan were amazing in helping us craft a menu that would fit in that vibe, be delicious (everyone loved the food!!!) and gluten free (celiac bride here). The space was set to be a party, with a mix of pub-height and lower tables (no head tables or sweetheart tables for us) that just made it perfect and relaxed and, most importantly, US. The industrial and contemporary vibe of the space was a beautiful backdrop for the decor (we hired Kate from Forte Florals and she created this modern and airy greenery geometric escape that we simply cannot describe in words) and we felt home the whole time. We had so much fun during our wedding. I didn’t have a single hiccup reported to me the whole day, neither did my husband. We were there just to enjoy ourselves, party with our most loved people in the world, and everyone at The Bond (including our lovely waitress that kept us fed and hydrated all night long) deserve all the credit in the world! I can’t say enough great things about this venue. The team at The Bond and the JDK group made our day perfect! The floral team lead by Colton went above any beyond to provide gorgeous florals and design elements to make the style just as of pictured. Everyone was so easy to work with and the wedding coordinators were worth their weight in gold. I was not the most hands on bride, and they kept me on track and took on a lot of responsibility to coordinate the event and our other outside vendors.

Pros: The food was very good. The staff was attentive. Parking was convenient. Decor was different in a good way.

The Cons: The seating was uncomfortable. The rooms were loud...cement floors and industrial ceilings made it so sound bounced around the rooms. Perhaps some acoustical tiles would help to improve the atmosphere. More...

Nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience at The Bond with Abby and the JDK group. The space is phenomenal-we received so many compliments from our guests about how unique it was. Nothing but glowing reviews regarding the food, as well. Abby was very responsive throughout the planning process, answering emails most often within 24 hours. The bridal and groom suites were a huge help the day of the wedding. They made for great pictures and allowed us to prep without running into each other. We recently held our junior/senior high school prom at this beautiful venue. The caterer The Bond utilizes is delicious and the catering staff are extremely helpful. The caterer has a wide variety of items to choose from. We went with the soft pretzel bar station and various sliders, which were all delicious. This venue is very elegant and in a convienant location with ample parking. The venue did not need a lot of additional decorations due to its beautiful chandeliers, large windows, and modern feel. The caterers brought additional decorations and decor, which complimented our decorating as well. Abby was extremely pleasant, professional, prompt, and easy to work with. She answered all of our questions that we had in a timely manner. She provided helpful and professional advice when we asked. I would definitely recommend The Bond not only for weddings, but for various school and business events as well. We hope to use The Bond again in the near future for our school events and needs. Went to The Bond for prom. It's a cool place with an open floor plan. It was crowded however, with about 200 students plus about 20 chaperones and maybe 30 of the bonds staff members in attendance. As a result, there was limited tables and seating. The dance floor was very crowded due to people being forced to stand along the edge of the floor of they didn't want to dance, with the limited seating and space. I was surprised at how much vehicles the parking lot actually held, although it was tight with some of the pick ups and suvs that came. A lot of students got dropped off. I think The Bond could be a great place to host an event, if it is kept small or planned out better than how prom was, because it was also hard to find drinks and the snacks, due to dance floor being clogged. I was impressed with the staff. As soon as something was running or ran out, they were refilling the containers and making sure everything was being cycled out quickly and efficiently. They also were goid at doing this discreetly. You wouldn't see them unless you were looking for them, which is impressive. Overall, The Bond is a good place to hold an event if you keep the invitees small and plan ahead. More...

Our wedding reception turned out absolutely perfect at the Bond. The venue decorated for the evening was better then I could have imagined and our guests all complimented us on how beautiful everything turned out. Abby was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process and a huge part of making the Bond as beautiful as it was for us the day of the wedding.
