I just have to say that I love, love, love! The Beauty Room, the staff there is amazing! From the girls at the front desk to my amazing hair guru Josh! And the best eyelash tech Vianey! Everyone is so professional and caring, you feel so well taken care of. If you are looking to color your hair I would recommend that you reach out to Josh he goes above and beyond, he will make sure to get you what you want without damaging your hair, I went from jet black box color hair to a beautiful ash brown and I’m in love with my hair color and the fact that it’s so healthy THANKS JOSH! I have been searching for a good salon since I moved to AK last May 2012. The Beauty Room is not only a great salon but it is by far the best salon I have been to.
I received a wonderful Hair cut by Master stylist Travis. Also, with the help of Alice, I got my hair permanently straightened. It has been two days now and I still LOVE my new hair. I can't say enough about Travis, Alice and The Beauty Room.
From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. The lady at the front desk was friendly and after checking me in walked me to the waiting lounge. The atmosphere in the salon was upbeat and lively. Travis was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my hair. He even juggled around his schedule to fit me in after we decided that straightening was the way to go. He explained everything he was doing and I felt very confident about the process.
A little about me the reviewer: I am in my Mid-Twenties. I have lived many big cities (New York being one of them) and have been to many salons. Basically I am not saying this lightly when I tell you this was the best salon experience I have had.
