A friend of mine has a film festival here. Though its not in an commercial area, it was in a nice residential area. Wow. What does this space have to do to get 5 stars on yelp?! Well, they gave us a code to get in, which was nice because we didn't have to wait for anyone to let us in! They have free guest WiFi, and that was convenient for our event. The bathrooms were really clean & spacious (men & women both had one stall) They stocked the drawers with extension cords, HDMI & other office supplies. They even had a screen to do presentations on. Lots of chairs & tables to set up any way you want. Also a little desk to sit at when you walk in. We used that for our check-in portion. Plus! The Beacon Center has helped make something that started as a simple thought, a mere possibility, in my mind into a successful reality. I saw myself speaking to women who had been through what I had been through - domestic violence, abuse, and drug addiction - and encouraging them to shoot higher, dream bigger, and see more for themselves. When I first contacted Ms. Becky, the owner, I was unsure of myself. I had no idea how I would pull it all off, and I was just feeling out what it might cost to set something up. She made things so easy for me to plan. She motivated me to continue and see it all the way through. The cost was minimal compared to what I had priced at other locations. They had absolutely EVERYTHING I needed to make it happen in the most efficient way possible.I started telling some of my friends that I was considering using the Beacon Center, and once I mentioned it, they all said the same thing. "Oh, Ms. Becky? Yes! You should use her facility. She is awesome. Very involved in the community!" "Oh, yes, I have used them before, and the Beacon Center would be perfect for what you are about to do!" "Yes, why didn't I think to refer you to her sooner? That's a great idea!"Ms. Becky was willing to work with me on splitting my deposit up. She understood that I was a first-time event planner who needed a lot of hand holding through the process. One thing that I loved was that when I went on the website, there was the "Ask Us a Question Now" kind of chat option. I clicked it, and it wasn't an automated robot or some service they had paid to try to answer questions with a stock answer. Ms. Becky herself answered the chat request and answered all of my questions immediately! (Now, she may just have been available at the time, so I'm not saying she will always be the one to answer right away lol but in my case she did) That showed me how personal her customer service is and how much she valued my potential business. She took a lot of time to answer all of my MANY questions!When I met her in person, she was even more incredible, giving me tips that I never would have thought about without her help. ("Now that there are more people than you originally thought, do you really need the tables, or would chairs be okay? If the tables were just for food purposes while they're eating, why not provide a one-bowl type meal instead? Something they can sit in their lap without a table? Less messy. You can get more people in. Something like a chicken rice and veggie bowl, or something?") That kind of information and assistance is priceless. She REALLY wanted me to be successful.It worked. The venue was amazing. My attendees complimented the place several times. It made it possible for me to support many other businesses and speakers, as I had vendor tables available and used guest speakers and performers that got a chance to showcase their skills, talents, products, and services. This was by far a great experience. The venue was absolutely perfect, we had everything we needed for my sons 1st Birthday party and had the owner Becky available to us (via a quick text message away) for any questions we may have had. The entire process was seamless from planning, setting up the solid date and arrangements, to eventually utilizing the facility. I cannot say enough fantastic things about this venue. Becky was amazing and very flexible. I, of course, had last minute changes which were handled quickly and graciously. The venue was clean, set up perfectly, and ready to be decorated for the baby shower I was throwing. Getting the larger package to have use of the kitchen was completely worth it. Believe me, you want the little kitchen space. Pricing for The Beacon Center came in about $1000 less than other venues I looked at. I absolutely recommend the Beacon Center! I attended a training a few days ago, the venue was extremely clean, restrooms were fully stocked, they even had body spray for the men it reminded me of the hotel restrooms. there was a seperate room for food, the TV was state of the art, it made the training fun and inviting. I will be booking my son's birthday party there soon they have light strips on the ceiling that turn the venue into a club feel, with a photography section as well. I am blown away by how efficiently this place is run.
I’ve been attending events and meetings at The Beacon Center for years and I’ve rented it a few times in the past but one of the owners had always been present.
This last time, however, I was on my own. I was given a security code to access the facility. I had a few last minute requests and called the owner. She told me where to find things and gave me security codes and keys to access them.
My event went like clockwork because The Beacon Center owners had anticipated every last minute, on-site request and were prepared for them.
I highly recommend the Beacon Center for meetings, training, seminars, and parties as well. It’s conveniently located, immaculate and well run, and the owners are honest and friendly.

I came from California to have my wedding in Las Vegas I stumbled upon the beacon center online and contacted Becky she was amazing from the start she answered all my questions and was such a pleasure to speak with. We had our wedding on Friday but we first saw the space on Wednesday and I fell in love instantly it was really nice and clean you could tell it was well taken care of. This outstanding venue played host to my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party this past weekend. We couldn't have been happier with how everything worked out. Planning a party is stressful, planning a party to celebrate 50 years of marriage that features your closest friends & family is even more stressful. Thankfully, The Beacon Center was a super easy venue to book, the owner, Becky, was super helpful, and everything went off flawlessly.Pricing plans changed a little during the time leading up to the party. Becky went from mostly a la cart pricing to bundled packages, which was great. We ended up modifying our package to take over the whole facility (they have a small room that we didn't rent originally). One of the best parts of this venue is that they allow you to bring in outside food & drinks, including alcohol. The facility is incredibly clean.The Beacon Center is used for a lot of corporate meetings, but let me tell you that it's a great spot for a party. It's not located too far off the strip, and while the decor is definitely more office-like, you can transform the facility nicely into a party atmosphere. They have a great PA system that is super easy to work. Bluetooth can be used to play music from your phone or iPad/tablet, and the sound quality is solid. They even installed LED lights that create a really fun party atmosphere.We couldn't be more pleased with how our event went off. We'll definitely look to book future events here if needed and would encourage others to do so as well! One last note, Becky was incredibly responsive. We have worked with the Beacon Center for our company meetings, it holds our large group and is close to our main office. Everything has been well thought out for this venue and audio/visual hook-ups are convenient . Cleaning supplies and all extras are readily available. The owner has been a dream to work with. On 03.03.2018 my fiancé and I used the Beacon Center as the location for our Engagement Party of approximately 70 and it turned out to be an amazing time. Becky, the owner, is very nice but extremely particular about the space, so there were a few more things we wish we able to do with the space but couldn't do, due to the restrictions. But, we had an awesome and affordable time. Becky was very helpful and forthcoming. My event coordinator was able to visit the site many times to prepare for our day. Also, Becky is GREAT with communication, which is always a plus. Oh and the place is EMACULANT, cleanest and most well kept space I have used in a while. Overall, our event was a huge success! Now....about some of those restrictions that I mentioned previously, they included--> no tape of ANY kind (except blue painters tape), push pins, removable hooks, etc. can be used to hang things. You CANNOT remove any of the pictures or wall decor at any time, which adds up in costs to cover. And, we were told that there would be a FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR fee for any use of glitter/confetti. One final draw back was that Becky will tell you that she sometimes watches the video cameras while the space is being used, which just seemed a little creepy to me, but that is me. I actually didn't get the opportunity to rent the space at the Beacon Center, but Becky, the owner, was the first one who answered me right away when I was looking for a place to host my event. I thought I would leave a review for her professionalism, which is a rarity in Las Vegas, sadly. Only a handful of venues actually contacted me back when I made inquiries. So you will definitely not be ignored or kept waiting if you contact Becky. I found another venue to host my event, but I would definitely keep TBC in mind for the future if I do an under 21 event. I host the Las Vegas Speakers Club and we've met at The Beacon Center for the past 2 months. Becky has been most helpful in every aspect of booking and setting up our event. Her schematics are helpful and there is plenty of technology available for off-site participants. Lectern, flat screen TV, white board, plenty of comfy chairs and tables....we could set up the room any way we desired. It's also nice having water and soft drinks available for participants. We also appreciated the welcome desk we could use to greet our members and guests. The only slight downside is it is a little difficult to find after dark. There are signs on the main street and if you've been there before it's easy to find your way, but if your first visit is after dark, you really need to keep your eyes open for the signs on the main street. Outside of that minor quirk, the facility is all we could ask for. Economical, all the amenities one would expect and all in all, a super smooth way to host an event. If you have the chance to utilize the Beacon Center, I'd urge you to do so. You won't be disappointed! More...

I just can't say enough good things about the Beacon Center. We held my husband's life celebration here. Becky and the staff made this event almost stress-free. Such an emotional time for me and our family and they provided not only the room, equipment but also the moral support to help us through. It was so nice not to be hit with fees for everything that we needed. We didn't realize that we needed a backdrop stand, and the staff pulled one out of the closet for us to use. The Beacon Center is the collaborative effort of Husband and Wife team, Gil & Becky Stonebarger.
Becky is the mastermind and driving force behind the Center, with Gil supporting her every step of the way. With over 50 years of combined experience in Hospitality, Becky & Gil finally realized their dream of affordable, inspiring space for businesses and individuals alike to meet, train or just party.
Becky has owned several businesses throughout the years. She is very proud of her degree in Casino Management and is currently working on her Event Planning degree.
Gil is a US Navy Veteran who has managed hospitality operations across the country for over 30 years. They have been happily married for over 30 years, with two daughters and two grandchildren.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The Beacon Center was launched in May 2015 with the mission of bringing a professional and affordable meeting space to the city of Las Vegas. The Beacon Center is family owned and operated locally. We work hard to provide our clients with the best that we have to offer to make your meetings, conferences, training seminars, and events a success.
We offer an affordable, high-quality and fully-equipped meeting, conference, and event space. We are based on a “put it back the way you found it” system in order to ensure costs stay low and quality stays high.
