We've only ordered takeout from here but it is consistently delicious and good food. I usually get the bbq platter and so does the fiancé. I get the fries and green beans or mac and cheese for the sides. They are always very generous with their portions, too. Very friendly staff members and quick on service. I would like to dine in sometime, however they are just a quick walk down the street for us so takeout is easiest. I highly recommend if you're looking for some good bbq. More...

I love the sliced beef Sammy cooked medium, lot of meat, could have been hot though instead of warm, Cole slaw good, but is that salt added? .. tastes like it, if so it's not necessary.Hand cooked fries, but, idk if it's the type of oil they use, or if it's old but didn't care for the taste, think oil may have been past change time.Would be nice to have napkin dispensers at each table, and some background music, like oldies.Ill be back though. The food was top-notch and the service was great. The prices are about what you'd expect from a BBQ place, but the portions were huge! I got a combo plate that had brisket and pulled pork, both of which were delicious. The coleslaw was excellent and the collared greens were the best I've ever had. My wife got a grilled tuna sandwich. I couldn't believe how good it was. Total price was $26. Like I said, about what you'd expect for a BBQ restaurant. Only downside, the facility could use a little TLC. The setup of the restaurant is fine, but it just looks a little on the rundown side. A coat of paint and some new ceiling tiles would go a long way. But in no way does it mean that I wouldn't come back. We definitely will! More...

I've been coming here off and on for the past several years. It's one of the best BBQ places in all of Hampton Roads and a locals favorite in Virginia Beach. They do a brisk business! That's because the food is great and so is the service. I recommend the sliced beef sandwich but the whole menu is worth exploring! You simply can't go wrong with any menu selection! Great bbq! My 11 yr old and I drove into town from Florida for the Rock n roll half marathon! Just happened to find this restaurant as it was on the same street as the doubletree where we were staying. Â We split the combo beef ribs and half whole chicken. Loved all the different sauces and they are made in house what I was told and gluten free! Got french fries and coleslaw which were both yummy too!
