We needed a quick place to eat for Fathers Day lunch and stopped at the Barnside. What a great sandwich menu! Familiar items with a gourmet twist. Prices are very competitive with the nearby diners but the taste blows them all away. There were six of us and everyone said their sandwiches were outstanding. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had the "Caprese" (tomato, melted mozzarella, fresh basil, grilled chicken sandwich) it was delightful. Very nice, cozy atmosphere. Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent - I had an omelette with cheddar, mushrooms, and sausage. The home fries were excellent. You can tell they're using good ingredients. Coffee was good - nothing spectacular but definitely a few notches above typical dîner coffee. My husband and I loved the food and service at the Barnside so much we hired Conklin Catering to cater our wedding. Mike is a pleasure to work with. We gave him a budget and Mike came up with a delicious menu. He even provided a hot chocolate bar and an amazing signature drink for our reception. The food was delicious. Our guests raved about the food and the waitstaff was efficient and very professional. The activity coordinator at our venue which was the Historic Racing Track museum in Goshen told us she loves working with Mike Conklin because he is so easy to work with and is always a professional. My husband and I highly recommend Conklin Catering for any party and look forward to working with Mike in the future. More...

We found this gem 2 days ago and my husband has not stopped talking about his hamburger with pulled pork and coleslaw... (south of the boarder I think) we are going back tomorrow :) can't wait! We used Conklin catering for our son's wedding and everything went off without a hitch, actually our expectations were greatly exceeded.
