I can not begin to put in to words how highly impressed I am with Barkers. From the moment that I called them for the appointment, I felt at ease. Let me begin by saying, I’m ALWAYS worried about dropping my Standard Poodle off to anyone. I could not have made a better decision and absolutely would refer them to everyone. Not only do they provide the BEST level of service, everyone there truly cares. From the moment that I walked in, I was met with the most amazing service. I didn’t even have to say who I was. They recognized that I said that I was bringing in a standard poodle and greeted Harlowe by name. Not only that, the owner, Vidal even came over to greet and welcome us. She also has the most beautiful dog. This place is quite the exception and I can’t wait to try the doggy day care option!I knew from the moment that I walked in, that she was in good hands. Jessica, the groomer, came over and introduced herself. She walked through everything with me. Top to bottom, as far as every step and everything she was going to do. She sets the bar high with her level of service and professionalism. On my way to pick her up, I was nervous and so excited to see her. We love Barkers and have been going there for years. Our Great Dane went to training and Doggie Daycare starting in 2013. Our long haired Chihuahua And Shitzu mix are groomed with Paula, she is great ! The front desk staff is very sweet and they know who we are when we call of come in. These guys are best by far !! Over the last few years I've tried the other places in the area for daycare and these guys are simply more on their game. This place is amazing. I am so thankful we found it after we moved from Texas. Logan is an incredible trainer and all the staff are so great with our boy I cannot say enough about their facility, their program /daycamp, etc. I highly recommend Barkers!

The staff goes above and beyond for your little one. I was so stressed about boarding my 9yr old (toy size) Pomeranian for a week and was nervous about letting him try the day care because he’s so small & can’t jump up or down on couches and he ended up doing great in the daycare with the other dogs. ..especially being the smallest one. The employees are genuinely sincere & caring about any needs your dog has which meant a great deal to me because they do that for every dog there all day everyday. Very clean, sanitary & organized. They had all his things packed & ready to go for me when I picked him up as well as bathed and cleaned him up real nice for me. They offer an optional camera which gave me peace of mind while being out of town for a week. I know for a fact that Barkers is the best doggie day care and boarding you could ever take your dog to. Everyone including the owner are animal lovers and they give the animals 150% love and attention. I read a review that said they don't pay attwntion to the dogs and allow them to fight. Very friendly place. They take great care in making sure the dogs are taken care of, given lots of attention and provided ample play time indoors and out. You know when the staff at a groomer or daycare or pet shop truly cares about your pooch. Lola knows when we pull up in our car and she jumps on top of me anxiously trying to get out and then she runs to the entrance door excited as can be, and when I pick her up she gives me lots of kisses and then in the most affectionate way she rests her head on my arm while we drive home.

I took my toy poodle to the grooming center in Barkers Pet Center today for the first time. I was initially very impressed with the professional and friendly staff at the front desk. I also noticed how clean the grooming area was kept and how the rest of the store was very clean and very well stocked. When I returned to pick up Peanut Butter, I was amazed at how great he looked. He was also very calm and seemed to bond with the groomer. This is a great place and I plan to bring Peanut Butter back again! More...

Have been coming to Barkers for about 4 months now. Staff is always friendly, clearly love the animals they work with and know them by name. I have saved some serious $$$ taking my cat here for non-anesthetic dental cleaning, not to mention how much healthier it is for her too! My mom has started bringing her spoiled cat and dog for grooming also. The facility has gotten a major facelift in the last couple of months and also has beautiful new astroturf for the outdoor area. OMG! My dog (pit bull) loves going here! And, I attribute this to all of the staff! When I open the entrance door and the staff see my dog (Ellen). ..you hear in unison "Ellen"! She loves going here! I was only in Ft. Lauderdale for 4 months. But my dog Boss and I think this is one of the best places in the country. Thanks for the great care and dog grooming. The spanish lady in the grooming department (no english) did a great job with our Pomeranian. We keep the hair short and groomed every 2.5 to 3 weeks. Perfect every time. Happy wife is a happy life. I absolutely love this place - but not as much as my dogs do! I take one my dogs once a week for daycare and he has the time of his life - I have to drag him out of there every time - he never wants to leave! The people who work there are always very nice and helpful. The owner is very sweet and very present in the store. I take both of my dogs for grooming - the prices are very reasonable and they always come back nice and clean.They also have the best quality pet food around and do boarding. You can also get doggy cupcakes in the store and have your dogs birthday party there! :) They also don't discriminate breeds either which is very important to me - all in all this place is awesome and I highly recommend it!
