Great experience. We reached out asking if they would consider catering our wedding. Response was incredible, friendly and whiling to work with us (other business were not and were less than friendly about it). Did a phenomenal job, great pizza, burgers were great as well. Also provided linens and glasses for the event. Connected us with desserts and cake as well. Waited to order for over 25 min, told our waitress that we had a food Allergen with tomatoes. After waiting forever for our food, tomatoes on my food, lucky I didn't have the Allergen but we couldn't try each others food like we had planned on. The burger was really good! Had the Badger and James has the Breakfast. the Bloody Mary was excellent! The house is $10 but it come with shrimp, bacon, olives, a pickes, lots of cheese& sausage, celery sralk, lemon and lime so it's worth the price! Today was literally the 4th time my family & I have tried to come there to try the Food and for me a Bloody Mary and again it was closed. The first 2 times they were too busy and we were told they could not serve us even if we waited. The last time and today there was no staff to open. The hostess was friendly and seated us quickly. We sat for 25 minutes without ever being acknowledged, we were not even offered water. At that point we just decided to leave. We had really been looking forward to trying this restaurant but I think we will have to wait to try it until we start seeing some positive reviews. They did not appear to be very busy but we would have preferred if the hostess had just told us it would be a 25+ minute wait rather than seating us and being walked by and ignored the entire time. I can 110% appreciate that restaurants are short staffed, but when the hostess treats you like an inconvenience, and the waitress cannot even let you know she's busy and will be with you shortly, it was time to leave. The Place was empty. Waitress told us to pick our seats then I think she just forgot us. We waited over ten minutes just to get a menu. She asked if we were ready to order within 30 seconds of receiving it. We asked for a drink menu, with a horrible attitude she replied it’s on the wall. So We ordered drinks but after waiting ten minutes of watching the bartender not making anything, we gave up on the entire idea of eating here. The waitress was literally snotty. Her nose was running and she kept sucking up the snot as she talked. If it’s this bad when no one is there what is it like when busy? happened upon this place for lunch today. ordered the mushroom swiss/med rare and the burger came out perfect temp! burger places often over cook the party, but this was perfect and very tasty. chive fries were nice and crispy. had a chance to chat with the owner Mike for a few min. he's busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest and like most service establishments, is having a difficult time finding workers. good luck with the new place Mike, burger was great! Went last night on a whim. Got seating immediately. Was told they were out of menus so we would need to look online, not a big deal. Ordered and received our drinks quickly. My husband ordered pizza (personally, a 12” pizza at just over $21 is a bit ridiculous to me) I ordered the Badger burger done medium, my son a cheeseburger. We also ordered mozzarella wraps. Waitress brought our food. Hands my son a cheese pizza, I said this was wrong, he got a cheeseburger. She apologized for her mistake and left the pizza for my son to munch on while they made his food. My husband said the pizza wasn’t fully cooked through. My burger was a sloppy, undercooked disappointment. No flavor, parts of the meat were still raw and the bun was horrible! Crumbling and dry. Took my two kids there for lunch on a Saturday. To address other's comments, yes there was a brief wait before being seated. Established Oconomowoc restaurants are short staffed, why anyone would go out to eat and expect otherwise at a new place blows my mind. Before you whine, try owning any business in 2021. Smh...
