We ate at the restaurant for lunch on a Friday and had a wonderful experience! The server was friendly and knowledgeable. Since this was our fist visit, we had lots of questions and he patiently answered all of them . He shared recommendations and even showed us some combinations that might be fun! We each ordered something different, and we WERE ALL HAPPY with our choices. The servings were BIG and the flavors were delicious. We felt "safe" - our server talked about the COVID protections (and the entire staff modeled them). You will be impressed by how this historical building was "refreshed" - classy & modern. Run don’t walk to Apis Restaurant! I cannot put into words how delicious everything we ordered was. We ordered the Pretzel, Scallops, Flat Bread, & Short Rib Sliders. The service was terrible last night. We had a larger group and the waiter was not prepared. They forgot part of our food order Drinks took 20 min to get each time we ordered. We cancelled out last round of drinks since our server forgot them. We kept on having to ask about our drinks and food order. Then we were charged for food we ordered that never received. It was not a good experience and you should have had the upstairs bar open. The waiter was carrying 1 drink up the stairs at a time and had no help. We will not be back even the the taste of the food was ok. Waiter said the bar was terribly backed up downstairs. More...
