There are so many good things I do not know where to begin. I had my wedding at the Roxy on May 19th 2017. This place will always hold a special place inside me, not only is it the place where I married the love of my life, but I finally got my dream wedding. Charlie Brown helped this happen. From day one when I started looking for a place to have my venue, my husband and I are both longtime friends of Charlie Brown and so we called him up and said hey we're getting married! We came and looked at the Roxy and the Amelie, and knew right away this is where we wanted to have our wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and Charlie Brown stepped up and went above and beyond to make sure that my day was perfect. Any hiccup that we came into, there was Charlie Brown and made everything better! And even the fact that we had tornado warnings during our wedding did not slow him down, or the fact that his cat was ready to deliver kittens any minute did not slow him down. I could not have asked for a better friend or a wedding coordinator. So THANK YOU CHARLIE BROWN, for an incredible job and stepping up when you didn't have to, to make Our Day so awesome and beautiful and perfect! Such a beautiful ceremony and reception space! We just got married here June 10, 2016, and we absolutely loved it! Charlie is amazing to work with, and goes above and beyond for his brides! The day just before our ceremony he fractured his ankle, but he was still there on the day of our ceremony! Let me start off by saying, this venue is gorgeous! I chose the Amelie side for my wedding and it was perfect! From the moment I walked in, I knew I wanted my special day to take place here. Then, I met Charlie. Let me tell you how great this guy is.... he not only was very nice, he was professional, accomodating, honest, and the the most helpful person with EVERYTHING that was needed. I had his personal cell phone number from the very first day and I was able to call or text with ANY questions or concerns with a quick reply/solution. He really does make this venue what it is. I didn't expect that I was paying for a venue AND an assistant as well. Also, let me add..... Josh was our dj and he did an awesome job! He too was very helpful and nice. Altogether, I had the venue, an assistant, dj, bartender, tables chairs, and linens all included in the cost of renting this place. It made everything so stress free and easy. We chose this venue to celebrate our wedding and are so happy we did. It was amazing! Charlie did a wonderful job for us. He kept us well informed of what to expect . He worked with us during the process of planning and maintained his commitment the entire time which eliminated so much stress. Charlie took care of us and our guests to ensure that we had everything we needed and that all flowed well, and most importantly that everyone had a fun time! His group, Josh the DJ, Zach the bartender and Christine our cake decorator, made us feel confident that we could just focus on enjoying our moment because they had all the important details completely taken care of...allowing us to just enjoy our night. I can't believe I'd never heard of this venue until my fiancé (now husband �) found it while we were searching for venues in our area. I went the next day to look at it and knew that's where I wanted to have our wedding. Charlie is a phenomenal human being and will help you in any way he can (he also may show you the occasional picture of his cats to brighten your day �). I absolutely loved having our wedding here. We are absolutely thrilled with our choice for Cory and Kate's wedding location...The Roxy was perfect in every way as well as Charlie accommodating our every request! The space was more than adequate for 125-150 guests moving around to food buffet, candy buffet, cake table, dance floor, bar, and a mingling area with high top tables. Words can't even begin to describe how thankful I am that we were able to have our wedding here! Our original location.. .all the roads were completely flooded and all our decorations were there as well! Charlie came in and saved our wedding day! Very nice event center and the people there are excellent to work with. I did some work there when I was baking as Sugar n Spice, and I loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff there. Both the Amelie and the Roxy are impressive venues. Draw dropping in fact but Charlie Brown is the reason we are giving this recommendation. We had our wedding here and it was absolutely phenomenal. Charlie made my day everything I could've ever dreamed of and more. I had zero stress all day long and the ceremony took place in the Amelie and was beautiful. The reception was at the Roxy and it was absolutely perfect. I had my dream wedding and reception at the Roxy and Amelie Event Centers in April and it was perfect! From the beautiful sheers they did, to the amazing dinner they made, to the lights and sound system for the awesome dance party. They truly had everything I needed for my wedding in one place. It made planning my wedding so easy and stress free. It looked so soft and romantic just like I had always envisioned my wedding to be. The staff was wonderful and I never had to worry for anything. We used the Event Center for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect. Charlie was wonderful to work with. We communicated on the daily and his responses were always within minutes. The space was by far the largest facility for our 270 guest list within a 30 mile radius, not to mention most affordable for that large of a group.
