The menu was unique and offered many interesting options. The Candied Clothes Line bacon with maple syrup dipping sauce is the perfect appetizer. Like shrimp? They have bacon wrapped shrimp with a Thai chili sauce that is just the right mix of sweet and spicy. That's just the appetizers, move on to the entrees, a burger topped with burnt ends and served in an optional donut for a bun! My mom, my husband, our 1 year old and I went there for the first time last week - and it was excellent! Not like a 'really good steak' . ..the filet was top notch. My mom said she had the best pork chop she's ever eaten in her entire life. I had the steak mac-n-cheese, and it was by FAR the best mac-n-cheese I've ever had. I ordered pick up and was so disappointed. I got the adult mac and cheese and it was terrible. it had NO flavor, no bacon and no seasoning. it was definitely not as advertised in the online menu.the shrimp and scallop appetizer was ok, but not "pan seared", but at least had flavor. I'm going to have to really consider trying this place again. I spent $30.00 and couldn't even eat the Mac and cheese. I was so excited to try you guys out too. More...

The drinks, the smokey Manhattan or the smokey old fashioned. We're both excellent. The lamb cooked exactly they way I asked. The veggies and mash were great. The wait staff was very nice and professional. The waitresses Hana has gone far above and beyond what she needed to when my GF burger was slightly undercooked. Absolutely wonderful atmosphere! It was a great place to enjoy a meal with good friends. As a new establishment, there are some kinks that need to be worked out however I can see this growing into a local Harrisonville favorite! From the time we arrived to the time we left, the staff was friendly and everyone in the place was enjoying themselves. We sat near the bar and enjoyed watching the bartender make drinks we had never seen before! The big winner on the food side for our table is the Mac N Cheese 😋 so good! The wine selection could have been a bit more extensive but the Santa Julia Malbec was enjoyable and perfect for the evening. Tried the 1886 for the first time today on my lunch break! I absolutely loved the food and the restaurant is super classy and a very nice Kansas City feel to it. My server was olivia she was super sweet and filled my drink without me asking she made sure i had everything i needed. I even met the cook and he was a very nice guy! The food was so delicious. This place is an excellent stop to relax while enjoying a cocktail, wine or most anything else to your liking. It is nice for a gathering of friends, maybe a romantic evening for two or dinner and drinks. They have delicious lunch and dinner options. If thinking of coming with children I suggest looking at the menu first as it might not be their cup of tea. The owner and staff were top notch. Well this was a fantastic experience.... Came in for Happy Hour .... Started off with a Mojito and other drinks... Half price appetizers spinach and artichoke dip plus hummus. ... 😋😋😋😋.... Then tried Purple Haze yeah baby followed up by Smoked Peanut butter and jelly drinks.... Tried amazing Flatbread too.... Ok Harrisonville and surrounding area you finally got a new place that is A real deal . We went to the 1886 for the first time last night and it was awesome! Great atmosphere and vibe! Talked to the Owner super friendly and very creative. The cocktail menu is really amazing not just your run of the mill stuff but well balanced and exciting. The food menu is also quite unique but a great selection of top quality dishes.I had the fillet and honestly I cut it with my fork so tender and perfectly prepared. The staff is awesome as well.
