My husband and I popped in for a quick lunch before our children came hone from school.  It was a last minute decision because we only had 45 minutes.  The ambiance and decor struck me as sophisticated and calming-a real surprise in downtown Westborough (we've lived here 9 years so I don't feel too bad saying that). We are vegetarian and as usual, requested everything be prepared without meat.  We ordered the Crispy Thai spring rolls and they were quickly brought out.  They were perfect, as was the rest of the meal--I was still hungry and decided to try their strawberry cheesecake for dessert.  I figured it might not be spectacular just because cheesecake isn't really a Thai thing and maybe was just an afterthought to the menu.  But when the waitress delivered it, I was impressed-it was a large slice with fresh whipped cream and strawberry sauce.  The graham cracker crust was crisp, the cheesecake was delicious and we finished the entire thing! I ordered two appetizers, scallion pancakes and beef satay and the bill came to $22; at that price you should be looking at sheer beauty!  It was just a pile of grease that I threw in the trash!  Wendy's has a better pecan apple salad, with beautiful greens and feta cheese and hot chicken on top, There was not a green piece of scallion to be found, think really bad greasy donuts!   I was appalled, they should be ashamed serving and charging for what I brought home! It was a very mixed bag for us.  The curry tasted quite good, but was mostly curry (sauce) -- chicken and vegetables were sparse. Less than 1$ worth of ingredients (chicken, potatoes, carrots) in the dish.Tofu vegetable stir fry had potential, but the fired tofu was full of oil. It had probably been fried carelessly so that it soaked up oil. Again, portion was small. Maybe about 4 spears worth of asparagus, a couple of muchrooms, and about 6-8 pieces of fried tofu.Drunken noodles tasted good, but portion was small -- thinly laid out in a plate, instead of a typical heap.Fried banana ice cream was lame. At other places, they coat the banana with a crispy mixture. Here, they just put in in an egg roll wrapper and fried it.Mediocre and small porttions. Pictures and words don't do this place justice! The food is fresh and so amazing, the wait staff is so sweet and kind, and they don't have their liquor license yet, which means that you won't spend a fortune on drinks. Just run into the local liquor store and grab what you need. Thai Minal is my favorite Thai place, it's incredible. We are obsessed with their Drunken Noodles with vegetables and tofu and their salads. More...

We had such high hopes for this place based on all the positive reviews. We ordered a few flat rice noodle entrees for take out on a Saturday night, and they were chock full of MSG and super salty, leaving us all with major headaches and crazy thirsty. The flat noodles themselves were also not done right, as they were overly soft and mostly in small "bits". We could also tell the cooking oil used was not very fresh, leaving scorch marks on the noodles and a gas-like after taste in the food (ugh). My dish had the pricier beef option and, disappointingly, the beef strips were overcooked and dry. Based on their generally high prices across the board, we expected so much more than what was delivered. Wish we could recommend this new place, but the food was just too problematic. Just glad we at least didn't end up with food poisoning at the very least. Our Saturday night dinner definitely had our family in bed earlier than desired due to our headaches :(( More...

Great food and great service - a wonderfully rare treat these days.  Highly recommend ThaiMinal to everyone from hardcore Thai food lovers to those who want to taste traditional Thai cuisine for the first time.  Working late?  No worries!  The delivery staff is fast, friendly, COVID-conscientious, and extremely courteous.   In these hard times, this level of service is welcome.  I gave a $15 tip - about 45% - a very small price to pay to say thank you for making the end of the day so much more relaxing and delicious.  Thank you ThaiMinal! An incredible extensive menu with the best mango and sticky rice deserts, and sweet wonderful service from Nikki! We are visiting from Los Angeles and have dined here two nights in a row. This place is really good. If you are craving authentic Thai food with that extra spicy kick this is the place for you. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious!  I ordered the tilapia with herbal salad and it was spicy with a hint of lime. It was so good! My husband usually order yellow curry at all Thai restaurants since it was his safe to go plate and it was really delicious. Our friends got the wild chicken and the shrimp cho chee. They loved the dishes as well. We definitely come back to try other items on the menu. I'm so glad it's only 15 minutes driving from our house! More...

Hands down best Thai food we have had in Massachusetts.  Owner, chef and staff are all Thai.  Food is super authentic.  Order here at least once a week and they offer both dine in (spacious seating) and delivery options (they have their own delivery so it's fast).  Massaman short rib curry, Khao Soi noodles, spring rolls, Roti canai and roast duck over rice are some favorites but really haven't found anything on the menu we didn't like.  And to top it off they serve you with a smile as the Thais are famous for. The food here is spectacular!!! We ordered takeout on Valentine's Day weekend. Our order included shrimp in a blanket appetizer, crispy chicken basil and mango curry chicken entrees. Everything was so delicious! The portions were great-we had leftovers for a lunch the next day (and the food was still great!!)They even gave us a brownie for dessert.When we went to pick up our order, the inside dining area was nicely spaced out. We got wonton soup. Excellent!!! Small portion for 2 people but we had our entrees too so it was just right for us. We ordered yellow curry with chicken, #3 on the spice. Quite possibly one of the best Thai restaurants in the area.  Scallion pancakes and spring rolls both light and crisp.  Not a drop of grease anywhere in sight.  Our three entrees were superb.   Basil crispy chicken...spicy udon...I can not remember what my husband ordered.  He licked the plate clean however.  I reccomend the house thai hot tea.  I also got the passion fruit juice drink....I am sure they would throw some vodka in there if you asked nicely...   :-) More...

Great Thai lunch specials. There is a wide variety of options. There is option to dine in or take away. I have tried the pad Thai and the pineapple chicken fried rice and I have have enjoyed both. There are also mock tails and milk teas for drinks. I would recommend their Thai tea with boba for a refreshing sweet and cool taste. This place is located in the center of downtown and there is also ample parking spaces. The restaurant is welcoming, clean, and inviting. Highly recommend this place. Yum, yum, and yum! Reminds us of Thailand and that is ohhhh so good! We particularly like the duck dishes, appetizer and entrees. Noodles are perfect. Crab fried rice is excellent. Gyoza is yummy. The egg rolls have a spiced honey sauce that matches just right. We've done take-out several times and this was the first dine-in. The servers are fun- helpful, respectful, and playful. I ordered online for pickup. My favorite is usually pad thai with shrimp, but it was not offered on the menu, so I tried the version with fried chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken pieces were soggy, dark brown, and stringy,  making them inedible. Perhaps they had been precooked and then microwaved instead of fried to order. I scraped them off and found the pad thai average, but a bit dry. The chicken gyoza were small and dried out as well. The salmon entree was generous in size and sauce. Was excited to try this new place because the menu looked interesting and different from regular Thai places. My bad I ordered kind of a weird dish without realizing, was craving curry so ordered jungle curry. Turns out it's only broth and not exactly luscious curry. This was the worst Thai food Id eaten. It was mostly bland and it's not appetizing to eat tofu soup with rice. Wonder why they'd name something like this "curry" and put it next to Panang curry, people could easily get confused. The fresh saigon rolls weren't awesome either. Disproportionate amount of lettuce too little tofu and the dipping Sauce was too bitter. These rolls are Thai food 101 so not sure why these are hard to make. They didn't skimp on tofu in jungle curry like most places, so kudos to that. I'll give them another try and make sure I read the menu correctly before ordering. So far though, disappointed. More...

I have driven by this new restaurant for the last two months and keep meaning to try take out and tonight finally did!  It was awesome! !! We had two apps and three entrees, all the dishes full of flavor, well packaged, and the host over phone and delivery person were really nice.  Excited there is a new delivery spot with great and unique food for the Westborough/Hopkinton line!!!
