I searched forever to find someone who could do a scalp treatment for me. Then I finally found Ahsanté! He took amazing care of my scalp and hair! I went with head a mess with bad dandruff and ends looking terrible. He gladly took care of both issues completely - my scalp looks and feels so clean. He took his time and made sure my skin was okay throughout the entire process. So important with a sensitive scalp like mine. I trusted him with my hair and it was the best decision. Cassandra other known as "Hair_by_cass" on ig is absolutely 100% amazing. I have been going to her for well over a year and I have never been disappointed. Love Virginia!! She is honest about what will happen to your hair if you ask her to do something that won't look that great, and she always has fantastic ideas about what will look great. I have never been disappointed. She is a master at highlights and low lights and adding dimension. I do not like my blond hair to look like it's all one color, I need dimension, and she is great at that. Over the years I have been to many, many stylists. I am so glad I was referred to Virginia! I love the vibe at this salon. My first time here and I'm definitely going back. Katie, you're awesome! Loved everything about my experience here today. Katie made me feel comfortable, made sure she communicated with me and understood what I was looking for and I walked out of there super happy and feeling amazing! I want to start by saying that I've never in my life left a salon as happy as I did here. I was looking to go from a darker brown to a blonde balayage and chose to come here based off of all the great reviews and client photos. I absolutely made the right choice. The moment I walked in everyone was so friendly as welcoming, the salon is super clean with all around good vibes. Cassandra was great with communicating with me ahead of time about what I wanted, and she did such an amazing job!!! So thank you to everyone there, I left feeling so beautiful and actually got a little emotional when Cassandra showed me the finished look. Cynthia is an artist! I have gone to her twice and both times I have left feeling amazed. I tried to do my own color at home and it was awful. I went to Cynthia and she fixed everything. I have stayed with the same color and I love it. I even took my daughter who is 7 to her and she was totally up for the challenge. Everyone in the salon is so sweet and helpful. Courtney is freaking awesome!!! I have the most high maintenance hair ever. It's coarse, dry, grows too fast, and worst, the top is growing out full on gray. Needless to say, going to an experienced color specialist is A MUST. I came to Courtney will some major color correction (and I'm talking umpa lumpa orange and black mess major). 5 stars all the way, outstanding place Been coming here since I moved to Carlsbad 2 years ago and was really impressed with how clean, quiet, and welcoming it was. The stylists all have amazing hair (that's obvious) and all super super nice. All make me feel welcome. The stylist I go there specially for is Cynthia. She is the most amazing hair stylist, she colors, cuts, everything for me hair. I trust Cynthia with my hair all the way. My mom and I both go to her and she is pretty booked, but that's obviously because she is good, so expect to get an appointment in about two weeks or so. Depends. I've been to a few salons and I've never had a better stylist. Virginia my hairstylist/colorist also nursed my hair back to health and it' s texture after a very bad experience at a previous salon. Have been with Virginia for 3 years now. She is AWESOME and such an incredible talented hair stylist/colourist who knows what she is doing without hesitation. A true artist, a genuine wonderful human being. I highly recommend her to anyone. The salon is clean/modern vibe salon. Asante did a great job. I had the pleasure of having him take off years by orchestrating a series of divine techniques. The haircut was flawless; and throw in the dying, it really took my experience to the next level. It's the little things that separates him from traditional barbers. Been going to Cass for about 6 months now, and my husband goes to Asante (best barber in Carlsbad) for about 4 months. Both are amazing and easy-going. The salon itself is always VERY clean, the lobby has a very comfy couch. There's always windows open and there is a good size patio attached to it. They don't push products on you, which is always way more relaxing than going to a pushy place. They answer the phone on the 1st or 2nd ring and always greet people as soon as they walk in. I went to Cass today and she took me from a level 3 and VERY grey at the roots to a very pretty transitional blonde. I have photos for that and I'm going to make sure to have my husband post photos when he goes in for his next fade. It's a great experience every time and I definitely recommend Cassandra for anyone that is brunette looking to go blonde! - - - UPDATE!!
