Multiple locations
Hello,
Before I begin communicating with you, please note that my Bark.com pricing represents a general estimate. Each individual photoshoot has its own characteristics and thus, these prices can go slightly down or up. Understandably, a wedding with 250 guests is quite different than an event with only 25 guests.

I needed a professional headshot in a short time frame. Terry responded in a timely manner and was a total professional throughout. He communicated well and put a lot of effort into my pictures, including making several tweaks at my request. He was also fairly priced, very respectful and attentive. Thanks Terry! More...

Terry was an absolute delight to work with. He made both my friend and I feel very comfortable within minutes of meeting him and we were able to have a blast! He's been very thorough and provided detailed information about one photos would be ready, and honestly it's gotten them back quicker than any photographer I've ever worked with! His work is spectacular and he made us feel so beautiful. 10 out of 10 for Terry and I would definitely recommend him to anybody for any occasion. He really cares about what he does! You should definitely hire Terry! More...
Rodolfo & Rachel
Terrence and his son Kevin were perfect at our small intimate wedding in Westerly, Rhode Island! It was a pleasure to have chosen him for our special day. My wife and I were in need for a photographer and were having trouble finding someone during this pandemic but once we reached out to Terrence he got on the job right away! They both wanted to prove to us how much of a good job they wanted to do and they absolutely did. Even during Covid19 Terrence and his son came to the church a week before the wedding day to prepare. His communication skills during the photo shoots were incredible. He told us jokes to get us to smile bigger. He took advantage of the scenery and was very creative with all angles. His energy levels were through the roof too. He didn't want to stop working because he didn't want to miss a single moment. He kept us updated on our photos and once we got to see the photos it felt like we experienced our wedding day all over again. That's when we knew we chose a professional. We couldn't be happier. Thank you so much Terrence and Kevin for everything! More...
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Photography consists of two elements. There is the knowledge of photography (shutter speeds, f-stops, lighting ratios between highlight & shadows, etc.). Then, there is the art of photography. Since age 12, I have been self-taught. Starting with my boyhood adoration of still photos captured on film and then onward to the breath-taking images enabled by today's technologies, the child is the father of the man...if you know what I mean. Now that I am newly retired from my teaching career, I am now in a position of being able to harness my passion and deep experience - both of which have been decades in the making - to the best equipment that imagery has to offer. Life is good.  Â
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It is important to establish with a client what they wish to do with the completed image(s). Do they want digital only - or will the photos be part of the wall art which adorns their home? Secondly, if the client desires physical prints, it is important to determine what quality that print shall take. To digress, with physical prints, there are many directions (money-wise and quality-wise) that a client can go in. Sometimes a client, requests only the digital images so they can then go to Staples and/or FedEx Office to have them mounted on FoamBoard or GatorBoard. Other clients enlist my guidance to send their images off to a professional photo-lab. Price-wise, this is mid-range. Top tier is represented by acrylic or metal prints, the quality of which will take your breath away - and as expected, can get quite pricey.
Therefore, it is my suggestion that it is best to have a separate conversation on that topic. Trust me when I say that I will guide you with utmost sincerity on this somewhat complex topic.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating fine art photography. That is, photography which captures the emotion and/or the power and/or dignity of an image.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I find this question to be a bit silly. It's so cookie-cutter.
Photography is a craft. I sculpt with light - and I am passionate about doing it correctly.
Why should our clients choose you?
My established reputation for being an excellent photographer, going above and beyond on behalf of my clients, and being easy to work with.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Again, like the "going into business" question (above), this question does not translate for photography.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The usual. Double masking while maintaining social distancing and finally, I have had both my Covid-19 vaccine shots.
100% money back guarantee (seriously) if you are not completely happy.
Hello,
I am a regional photographer. By that I mean I will easily and enthusiastically come to you. For example, although I am technically based in CT, if you are elsewhere, I sincerely hope that will not affect your decision to hire me. With daughters living in the metro-Boston area, Newport, R I, and Westchester County, NY, my car practically steers itself on my frequent visits to see them! Thus, I am constantly on the move...love it! And no worries, I do NOT add travel expenses or any other funny stuff to my project prices. What you are quoted is what you pay. I simply think of it in terms another visit to one of my daughters.
One last thing....as the subject line of this info blurb says, I offer an airtight / ironclad guarantee of you being completely happy with my work. Translation: After seeing and taking (electronic) delivery of your images, if your are not 100% happy with my work, I simply do not cash the check.
Thank you for reading this (very wordy) bit of narrative.
Stay well.
