We hired Astrid and Ajie and the rest of Terra Lumen for the project La Cereza Café and Bakery, in Thousand Oaks California. The project was meant to take three to four moths starting in May of 2021 finishing the 31st of August of 2021, we payed the project in full, and up until today January 14 of 2023 is incomplete. We have asked for a full refund and the rent that we have payed for the property, and Astrid has many months that she hasn’t responded to us and she went back to her home country without confronting us. She left with all the money and the small amount of construction they did do was in very poor condition and done completely wrong. More...

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
If your Garage is located within a Residential or Mixed-Use zone and has access to water and sewer lines then it is eligible to be converted into an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU), Junior ADU, or a backyard home. The maximum size of ADU will depend on the number of bedrooms, whether attached or detached from the primary home, and other conditions.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
With careful consideration to structural integrity as well as electrical, mechanical, and plumbing needs, any spaces at homes or workplaces can be converted according to your need for comfortable and stylish spaces.
What’s your interior design process?
1. PROGRAM: We listen to your program needs and budget.
2. DUE DILIGENCE: Perform technical due diligence to determine whether there are any structural or technical challenges on site.
3. VISION: Create a concept design and mood board for colors, materials, and textures for discussion.
4. PLAN: Finalize the plan including all divisions needed and artwork/furniture selections.
5. BUILD: In close coordination with our builder, upon securing permits, if necessary, we devise and then realize the plan where design refinement continues until the last decor is placed.

For comfortable and stylish spaces, we can transform a wide range of interior design styles: from California coastal to mid-century and contemporary, from urban modern to colonial and tropical-inspired.

We have offered design and build services in California since 2019 and are fully backed by a planning and design studio in Jakarta that we launched in 2011.
