My burger was amazing! Two things made my experience less than perfect. First, sitting at the bar, the music from the kitchen was completely overwhelming. Combined with the music in the dining area, it sounded a bit chaotic. Second, my meatloaf burger was definitely not made to eat with my hands. It was really, really hard to cut and eat it being served in a metal basket. The paper underneath became mushy and torn and some of my food ended up on the bar countertop. Best date we’ve had in the year we’ve lived here! Everything was perfect, from drinks to food, atmosphere & the service!
Our server was amazing! She was soo informative on everything from the menu to the history of the restaurant, we had a blast talking to her and will definitely be back!!

First time trying your restaurant Daniel Shier. All were amazing! We had the Braised short rib Poutine as an appetizer. I tried the Anchorage Style Burger and my Wife enjoyed the Halibut Alaskana.

Alright, here’s the thing. We get there and there is a 45 minute wait. No big deal they take our number and said they will call. After about 50 minutes we go back in to get an update. They stated about another 10-15 minutes, still not a huge deal things happen. After a legit hour and a half, double the original projected wait time we ask for yet another update and were getting quite upset as we have a 9 year old and a 2 year old. When asked we were notified that we had already been seated. Come to find out, someone said they were my party’s name when they weren’t. Anyways, they made it right, we ended up getting seated almost immediately and were compensated with 2 appetizers. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Went to Tent City last night and had one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Anchorage. Amazing flavor, beautifully plated, high quality ingredients.
I had chowder and halibut and chips was awesome
Addy had the Mac and cheese and beef ribs
The Mac was the best I ever had
We tried some mimosa flights (can’t remember the name) and they were all 5 stars out of 5. (
Blueberry wings were perhaps the best wings i’ve ever had.
Our server was also stellar. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.
