I was in terrible pain and unable to sleep. My dentist recommended that I see a specialist to extract a fractured wisdom tooth close to a nerve in addition too two broken teeth. Upon careful review I did not choose the oral surgeon recommended by him and decided to go with well reviewed oral surgeon Dr. Dmitry Tsvetov.I was able to see the doctor the very next day and had the consultation and surgery that very same day. The lady at the front desk walked me through the costs for my surgery, including what my insurance would cover and my out of pocket costs. Dr. Dmitry walked me through the process and clearly explained the kind of surgery I would require. The general anesthesia was administered by him, this process went flawless, a true mark of a skilled anesthesiologist. During the whole surgery Dr. Dmitry talked me through each step and what he was doing and what to expect, this was very helpful. The surgery was completely painless. My entire appointment took less than an hour. Out of an abundance I took the prescribed medication the first day by the second day I realized they were not even necessary. The extraction sites healed quickly! Dr. Dmitry has a high skill level and great hands. I can't say enough about him. I will go to him for further treatments. So...I'm Hispanic. I feel that is necessary to mention. You'll see why. I came in with my father for a consultation. I need my wisdom tooth removed. Two white ladies were at the front desk. They seemed polite enough at first. I went to the back with a nurse (another Hispanic woman) for a scan. We chatted. I heard some ladies discussing how to pronounce my last name (it's not a hard one). The nurse with me seemed on edge but was normal enough until she asked me why I had brought a light jacket with me. WEIRD question. When I looked at her, not knowing how to answer, she asked "is it for the nerves?" and smirked at me. Like that's funny. I just smiled and told her that offices are sometimes cold. She didn't respond. So strange. I'll skip ahead. I'm sitting, waiting for the doctor with my father. I was already not too keen on the attitude in this place. Dr. Tsvetov sweeps in, doesn't make eye contact with me, mutters a "how are you today" and then proceeds to talk about removing two wisdom teeth instead of one. My orthodontist (the one I saw a week ago) said there were no issues with the rest of my wisdom teeth. When my father calmly told him this and asked why it had to be removed immediately, the doctor got very annoyed. He said it could pose a problem in 5-10 years. I said I understand why I should definitely consider removing it and asked what the chance was that the tooth would be perfectly fine. He got more and more irritated the more we asked normal, logical questions. God forbid someone want answers before an oral surgery right? The doctor continuously brought up MONEY. "If you can't pay for two teeth removed, we can see about a discount..." WHAT? We never said anything about not being able to pay. We said over and over again "this isn't a money issue, doctor. We just want to understand the plan." But that didn't matter. Because we're just poor dumb Hispanics right? Ridiculous. Ugly behavior. The doctor then proceeded to say I didn't need much medication (just laughing gas and numbing) and that it's silly to have anesthesia for such a small procedure...even though we went over this on the phone with them already without an issue. I might've considered not having it if he wasn't so rude. The second the doctor left the room, I decided I was done. I wouldn't trust him to comb my hair, let alone take a tooth out. We said (to another nurse) since this is a different plan then what we'd discussed before, we'd like half an hour to think about it. This was just a nice way to get AWAY from these people. I've never had any type of procedure before. I definitely didn't want my first one done here. We went to the front desk where one of the ladies printed out a quote for us. She continued to be short and rude as she went over prices with us, twirling her blonde hair, and AGAIN talking about a discount we never asked for as the other woman next to her kept eyeing us like my hard-working, professional, wonderful father and me were the trashiest people she'd ever seen. Nasty. So very nasty. The lady dealing with us wanted us to sign some papers and my father said "No, thank you. We'd like to take a minute to go over the plan together." He then looked to me and said, trying to give me a polite excuse to leave, that I should call my mother and update her. Since I was SUPPOSED to be getting the surgery tomorrow. "Wait, I thought she was over 18," the lady said to our surprise and actually rolled her eyes. This had to be a joke. The young woman who was scowling behind her actually giggled at us. "Yes, she's over 18. But she still has a mother and she's going to go call her right now," he said. I took his arm and we left. I have never been looked at or treated like this before. Like a lesser person. They assumed we were unintelligent, didn't have money, and acted like we were lucky to be there. The good reviews here all look very similar. Suspicious. But if people had good experiences at this clinic then good for them. I'd hate for anyone to experience what we did. Still, I see those reviews that have the same exact issue with the staff as me --and to them, I'm truly sorry! I get it. I'm sure the not-so-good doctor will enjoy writing out a condescending response to this (like I've seen with the other bad reviews). That's not a problem for me. People like him and his staff aren't worth the trouble. So glad I was able to schedule the surgery with people I know and trust (even if it's a further drive). Worth it! I wish I'd never considered going anywhere else. More...

This office, from the front desk bleached blonde ladies to the Doctor himself, is as unprofessional as they come! We experienced exactly the same ridiculous rude treatment as all the other 1-star reviews expressed. I will spare you all the details since it just fuels this demeaning Doctor to reply with passive-aggressive nonsense. I am NOT writing this review to make him or his staff aware of how awful they are treating people who need medical help. But instead to WARN my fellow Yelping family- STAY CLEAR OF THIS OFFICE!
