I knew I wanted my flowers to be fun and happy, and oh my word she made the most amazing bouquet. I mean, I did not want to put that thing down. All of her flowers helped make everything feel so personal and special, totally fit our personality and vibe perfectly. We recently used Teacup Floral for our wedding day in Chapel Hill and we highly recommend her!! I didn't have a specific vision in mind for the flowers, and Kelley came up with more beautiful ideas than I could've ever imagined. She created the perfect bouquets and table arrangements for a late winter, early spring wedding. I LOVED the flowers at my wedding. Kelley did such a wonderful job in making our vision a reality such that the flowers turned out to be my favorite (aesthetic) part of the wedding. I live out of town and did not get a chance to meet with Kelley in person, but through email/phone/pinterest, we were easily able to get the planning started. Kelley was organized from the very beginning and asked so many helpful questions that I did not even know I had to think about. Further, as my ideas evolved in the months leading up to the wedding, Kelley tweaked the plan until it was perfect. When I finally saw the arrangements, I was blown away. I really can't say enough about Kelly and her work. When I first met with her, I could easily tell that she was very creative and passionate about her craft as a florist, which made my decision a lot easier (I was between two florists and I'm SO glad I chose Kelly). I am a big flowers lover and absolutely love having fresh flowers in the house, and was admittedly looking forward to choosing my florist most out of any vendor. I told her what my vision was and she was immediately able to translate it back to me and provide examples of how she was going to achieve the floral "goals" I wanted. I requested peonies, dahlias, anemones, Juliet roses, along with others I didn't quite knew the name for (Kelly did!) for my bouquet and sure enough they were all represented in my bouquet the day of. Perhaps my biggest vision was a suspended floral for the alter. Kelly was so resourceful in that she already knew who she could rent the structure from and how she would fill it. Let's just say I was and still am OBSESSED with the piece that she put together. Kelly was very flexible when I proposed some additional ideas on terrarium decor about 4 weeks out from my wedding and fully executed with just a few photos I showed her. Overall, appointments with Kelly were fun and professional. I was also pleasantly surprised and so appreciative of her affordable prices for the types of notoriously expensive flowers that I requested. From our first meeting I knew Kelley would be amazing! She has such a cool, funky style that gave me the confidence she could easily take my vision and make it come to life. I also love that she uses pinterest as your vision board during the planning process. Kelley did not disappoint on our wedding day. Our wedding was full of color and I wanted flowers to compliment our other elements without overpowering them. From the hanging floral pieces in the ceremony to the main centerpieces at the reception, everything was honestly better than I had imagined. She incorporated the colors beautifully with the most gorgeous flowers.
