I always use TaxAct but this year I decided to get them professionally done. They were able to get me more on my return than what taxact was giving me. Dave was super helpful, and it was a fast and easy process. I also was messaging him back and forth thru yelp before I went in and he was able to give me prices and answer all my questions and see me that same day. They were very affordable while others were charging me 120-150 for a short form, and I had two w2's. They also have an awesome referral program where they give you $20 per person you refer. I made an appointment for services today at 4:30pm. Â I was supposed to be there at 5 and missed it by almost one half hour. Â My wait was still under ten minutes. They handled my business in an accurate and timely manner, the staff was professional, well dressed, and well groomed. Â The office was clean, and the parking was good as well.After calling several places Tax Shack came through when places like H&R Block and B of A couldn't. Had the day off and decided to take care of my taxes today. I've previously had prepared my taxes using Turbo Tax, but decided this year to seek out some professional help. I found The Tax Shack just a few blocks from where I live and decided to give them a try. David and Fermin just opened The Tax Shack a couple of weeks ago, but have years of experience preparing taxes and helped me get a nice return (more than i've previously gotten in the past years than when I've prepared my taxes with Turbo Tax) and offered to take a look at my previous year's returns to see if I missed something when I did them myself.
