My taxation process encountered significant errors, as my withholdings were inaccurately entered. I was told someone other than the designated tax professional handled my information and was terminated. Despite being quoted 4929 for my state taxes, my actual refund amounted to around 500. That is to be determined I know have to go to an accountant for them to review my taxes. Wait it doesn't stop there an amendment was filed; however the NY State tax rep notified me that the tax preparer Sharonda failed to submit an IT196 form, further prolonging the process. Despite my patience a follow up was promised that never happened. Now I received correspondence from both State and federal. I now owe federal 296 which is comical since I paid them over 700 out of my taxes to file. I was informed by the NY State rep to escalate my concerns and file a complaint. The overall experience has been dissapointing and I wish I never found their website on google. My husband has his own issues but that is being handled. Tax Lady do better this was extremely unprofessional and I will be doing reviews on Youtube and TikTok to warn future clients. More...

We advised you of this and believed it was in your best interest to avoid potential penalties. We did attempt to contact you to discuss the return in more detail after receiving threatening text messages from you, stating that we had "messed with the wrong one." If you had returned our call, we could have guided you on how to correct the issue with the state without incurring additional fees. Despite this effort, we have made multiple attempts to resolve the issue for you as a valued returning client. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a solution that satisfied you, and we understand the mutual need to terminate our business relationship. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
