Taste of The Town Catering is a long time Tacoma caterer that has been in business for over 30 years. We have catered almost every type of event one could possibly think of. Our Venue is located in Downtown Tacoma where we have a commercial catering kitchen, full 50's diner themed bar, dance floor, full-size projector w/ screen, DJ spot, and a large seating area that holds up to 250 guests.

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Our Chef has over 30 years experience cooking in high-end restaurants and has a wide variety of skill-sets in just about every type of cuisine one could think of.
We are very flexible when it comes to substitutions and are always open to specific customer requests. We offer gluten free, dairy free, & vegetarian options.
What do you love most about your job?
We love the catering business because it gives us a chance to showcase our talent and make our clients vision come to life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We started our catering company because we love the food industry and also really enjoy customer interaction.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our clients choose to book with us for mainly 2 reasons. We offer very high quality food, and our pricing is generally 10-15% lower than that of our competitors. We can afford to offer lower pricing because we are a smaller family run business, and we own all of our own equipment. That cost savings is in turn passed on to the customer.

We offer off-site catering and are generally willing to travel to outside venues for our clients.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To keep customers health safe, our staff wears COVID-19 approved masks while preparing all food, and strict handwashing and glove protocols are in place.
On-Site Catering
We offer on-site catering at our Downtown Tacoma venue. The party hall has a 50's diner theme and features the following amenities:
Full 50's diner themed bar, dance floor, DJ area, full-size projector w/ screen, and a large seating area with tables and chairs. Our venue can accommodate up to 250 guests.
Off-Site Catering
When we aren't catering at our on-site venue in Tacoma we are busy traveling to provide catering services at various offsite venues.
We offer professional catering with a wide variety of menu selections.
Wedding Catering
Catering for Weddings has been a staple for our business over the last 30 plus years. We have catered Weddings at nearly every venue in the Tacoma / Olympia areas, and are familiar with the common practices & procedures that these venues require.
We help make the Wedding mealtime an enjoyable and smooth event for the client and all their guests.
