This place is amazing! The food was to die for and the service was excellent. The beer menu had good variety. The food menu had a little bit of everything. I started with a Scotch egg, so good! My wife had the chicken and fries, I had the duck leg jambalaya, my oldest son had a burger and my youngest son had the bacon wrapped pretzels. The boys also finished their meals off with a bourbon ice cream. Everything was great, cooked well, seasoned perfectly and so delicious. Caution! Times vary! The kitchen will close before the time they state on google so make sure you give them a ring before you go. We arrived at 9:20ish and they closed at 11pm. They were just about to close the kitchen which made us feel horrible but on our part, we had no idea. Without hesitation, they welcomed us to sit, drink and eat. We were out by 10:30. Service was VERY quick and they were delighted to serve us.. The food was very good and I’m sure it would’ve been even better if we had arrived sooner. We were in town for a late funeral and were looking for a good local bite to eat. Great beer selection, wide selection of food options, and fantastic service. Wish we could’ve stayed for dessert but we didn’t want to intrude any further. The bar stays open until closing time so enjoy their drink menu and atmosphere. More...

Tap is a great place to get food and have a couple drinks. Food is made from scratch all but a very few items. Also great to work at.

Absolutely stellar service from Monique and others tonight! Crab, shrimp, and crawfish were on point. Clams and mussels were overcooked in the boil and completely dried out. But the potatoes, corn, and spinach artichoke dip were fabulous! Had a great time. Dessert was perfectly made cakes! Super clean restaurant, cozy atmosphere, and wonderful service. I really like this place. I am in town visiting and have been there 3 times already. The smoked wings are amazing and plenty of great tap beers to try, and a friendly wait staff. Chef Justin you have a fan in me.

Had an amazing dinner at Tap1918 last evening! Friendly staff, lovely setting & very interesting menu. The green curry pork belly was delicious with eggplant, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, peas over rice - I ate every bite.

I really liked this place. Good food and beer. Got into a conversation with our server only to find out the place is haunted! Verified by another that overheard the remarks. Seems the chairs move away from the tables late at night and strange noises come from upstairs while they clean and close up. Anyway, it's a very cozy and relaxing venue, nicely remodeled in the old mill in Rocky Mount. Hats off to those that had the vision to bring new life to the old place. More...

We really enjoyed our meal at the Tap! We were greeted warmly, seated promptly and our waitress was at our table within 2 minutes. Service was just right - not too overbearing and always there at the right time.The house Chardonnay went well with both the yeast rolls appetizer and lobster roll entree.
