We had a fabulous spa experience last weekend! Umberto and Vivian are true masters in their craft. We decided to go with a few upgrades and had the Ashiatsu massages. It was the best massage we have ever had and will continue to travel the hour plus to come back. They listened to our needs and what we were both looking for. Had an amazing massage today from Vivian. I had intense sholder pain and was here once before for my lower back issue this Spring. I remembered the incredibly thorough and unmatched skill level and the "true craft"  that I was provided then by Vivian,  so I called and I was very lucky there was a last minute cancellation today . Great place to get an amazing massage, float, sauna or get a facial. People there are professional, kind and know their business and how to treat their clients. I liked it so much I work there per diem. Come on in during the week or anytime and take a tour of the facility and meet some of the therapist. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been coming to Tao for 2 years for various services, mostly ashiatsu massage to destress with Vivian but I’ve also had some amazing facials. While on vacation I pulled my piriformis muscle which irritated my sciatic nerve and had been seeing my doctors and going to physical therapy to work on recovering. Progress has been slow. In one hour yesterday Vivian was able to accomplish what 2 doctors multiple prescriptions and 6 weeks of PT haven’t !!! I am pain free and I am so very grateful. After many months of intense training, muscles get tight. Apparently I'd rather get walked on than use a foam roller.Vivian went above and beyond making me feel like a valued customer. Kind and thoughtful, I was impressed with Vivian's pre-appointment contact and follow-up note after my visit. A phone consult describing Ashiatsu massage, a new experience for me, and providing options for which products would be used during the massage instilled confidence I had chosen the right place.  She showed an exemplary level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail.The massage itself was great - 10/10, would get heeled again. If you're the type who has taken an elbow to your obstinate knots and felt like more pressure would be euphoric, the Ashi fulfilled that wish for me.  That's not to say I would call the IT band manipulation the most pleasant experience I've ever had on the table, but I keep my expectations realistic when a therapist is digging through stubborn tissue: love-hate.  Even so, any discomfort was soon forgotten because Vivian was receptive to feedback and a skilled conversationalist. (I recently bought one of the books she talked up during the session for summer reading.)It's one thing to leave a review after your first appointment. First time float was better than amazing!!! I definitely recommend more than 60 minutes. As a first timer the staff was extremely helpful and insightful.
