I went there for the first time for my cousin birthday outing and I truly enjoyed myself!!!!! I would have given it 5 stars but this place is small with no dance floor really. Will go back again for sure. Nice mixture of music and people just having a good time with no drama. Laid back and nice vibe. Good for date nights or ladies night! More...

My friend and I came in town from St. Louis. Heard about this bar from a old SIU friend. We got there, it was a little small but the music was good. Bartenders were nice also ! We got invited into one of the sections with some fellow SIU peeps. They had got a few bottles by the end of the night the girl who did the bottles never came back with our friend credit card. So we waited and waited. Now the lights was on and she told him she lost his card. We all was looking around before Security told us to leave. Long story short my friend didn’t pay for the previous bottles he said the manager said she will take care of it! Don’t find to many nice peeps like that in the bar business! Sunday night in this space is the place to be. It’s a recreated space for women of color who also identify as queer and/or lesbians. As a man it was noted that I was a “guest” to the women in the room, and I respect that. Thanks for creating a space where queer people of color can be respected, honored, and loved.
