Even after this restaurant is in NJ, USA it server a very good biryani. I haven't tried its buffet but find a place in afternoon lunch hour or late evening hours is really difficult

I and my wife have been going to Tandoori Flames for about 3 years now, apart from good food and good ambiance what keeps us coming back is the hospitality of Rohan (Manager) and Kalpesh (Assistant Manager) they never failed to greet us with a warm smile and professionalism. I have known these two individuals for over 6 years now when they were both managing the restaurant (curry on - Jersey City). So what's so good about this place? 1. Management team2. Ambiance3. Had excellent Indian cuisine that was delicious with perfect seasoning. The goat curry was our favorite, the meat was cooked to perfection. It is a BYOB place and highly recommend pairing it with Malbec wine. The Dahi Kebab with pickled mango was the best appetizer. Fine buffet which changes selections each time I've visited in innovative ways. Authentic Indian flavors may be a bit too spicy (in some dishes) for westerners unaccustomed to this cuisine, but the choices of seasoning and spice are SUPERB in my book. Buffet Review: The choices and taste of food were good for the $15.99 price point. They had equal variety of veg and non-veg dishes. The best items were tandoori chicken, black pepper chicken, tikka masala and oh yeah the chicken biryani was on point. The biryani, esp, was our favorite - full of masala in every bite and spicy. Been here for a team lunch. We had tried the buffet option. The place is nice for big groups, they could easily accommodate large group of about 30 people and serve well with relative ease. The ambience is decent and the service was nice.In general, I have come across two kinds of buffets. One where there are a lot of options but only a few taste good as they can't keep up and the other being slightly fewer options but most dishes in the buffet taste good. The buffet here was the latter one with slightly fewer options than most Indian places in the area but most dishes served were good. The place is quiet vegetarian friendly, had good options for all courses of the buffet and they served probably one of the best butter naans I had at buffets. The naan was super soft and flaky.
