I've been to this place before. The pozole verde is out of this world good. I have yet to try the menudo. The tamales are big and have a great flavor. If you get there early enough you may be able to try the tamales de rajas con queso and the chicken Ones since they are bomb. All of their tamales have different complimentary masa and they have sweet ones as well. The tamarindo agua was slightly sweet but the Jamaica agua is super tasty and strong. The food is very delicious , sadly I can’t say that about the service we went around 2 and waitress had an attitude the whole time she never went to the table to ask if we need more drink we wanted to put an order to go and she was more concentrated on counting her tips then attending her table and when asked something we got a respond as if it was a bother to her however the food is highly recommended

The restaurant is super clean. Recent score is 97. We ordered a barbacoa plate (12.99) with eggs. My wife said the barbacoa was super clean and not greasy. I ordered a small menudo (8.99) and was given the option with or without pig feet. I opted out. The taste of menudo was served warm not hot and was good. In order the chorizo and egg taco ($2) to try and it was good. We also tried the chilaquiles taco (2.50) rand was served Mexican style with queso fresco. The chilaquile tacos are not Tex-mex. I didn't try it because that's not what I'm normally served at a Tex-mex restaurant so I can't vouch for the taste. I ordered the barbacoa tamale ($2) and the blackberry w/cream cheese tamale ($2) as a to-go order. When I got home and opened the tamales to heat up for lunch I noticed that these are mini-tamales (not like Delia's). Maybe a little over 3 inches. The corn masa was quite dry to be honest but the blackberry and cream cheese tamale had a good taste. Along with 2 coffees ($5.50) the experience was good overall.
