I stopped by on my way to Austin, TX (coming from San Antonio) and I was immediately greeted with a smile and asked how I was doing. I witnessed a customer that seems to come here frequently based off of how the gentleman, Vincent called her by her first name and how graciously she spoke back to him as if she was just sitting at her own dinner table. That in itself told me the experience I was going to have. I was explained the menu and what their offers were -- then when I ordered an "odd" combination for my Lo Mein which they actually made incorrectly, but what I appreciated was the look of the employees and their sincerity in apologizing. That kind of care and genuine approach puts a tough minded guy like me at ease to where I said, "Hey it's okay. You're not a robot. Things happen." They gave me a free egg roll :) (thank you for their error haha) and then again brought me my food fast as possible which was delicious!!!!!! We were driving through New Braunfels and were both craving Chinese so we stopped by Taipei Express. It's not too far off from the highway. The restaurant is immaculate. You order at the front and they bring the food to you. I got the Salt and Pepper Shrimp with fried rice and crab rangoon and my friend got the Triple Delight with white rice and egg roll. The food came out quick. Everything was delicious! If you like shrimp and you're not afraid of a little spice, try the Salt and Pepper Shrimp! The Triple Delight is a great option too bc it's a little bit of everything (chicken, beef, shrimp, and veggies) all in one dish. They also have vegetarian options and boba drinks and they deliver! So impressed with this place! My sister and I came here after work to get our egg drop soup fix. Not only was the soup good, the service was fantastic! The girl who helped us (I didn't get her name but she had black glasses) was knowledgeable of the menu and gave great recommendations. At her suggestion we tried the kiwi bubble tea and it was very refreshing and made me want to jump up and do a jig! 10/10 recommend More...

I have been coming here since they opened, and have never had a bad experience. The customer service is great, and the food is delicious. The online ordering makes it convenient to pick up take out food on the way home. My favorite order is the sesame chicken, and the Asian salad.
