We just moved to the area about a month ago and heard great things about tail chasers so naturally we had to go and check it out! This place lives up to to the hype. I took my puppy their to get groomed for the first time and Linda and the staff were wonderful with him. She spent a great deal of time with me making sure all of my grooming requests were met and making sure my pup had a great first experience. It only took an hour for my dog to be fully groomed and when I had picked him up, I was thrilled with his haircut and to see my pup so happy. They really care for the animals and treat your pets like their own. Linda exceeded all of my expectations. We will definitely be back for grooming and for doggie day care. This place was wonderful! A friend of mine brought me some samples of the treats for my poodle and chorkiepoo and they loved them. They loved them so much after trying them on the day I got them that they convinced the cats to give them all the baggies of treats the next day while I was at work. I came home to every treat gone and two happy pups! I was thankful that the overload of treats didn’t have an effect on their tummies! Definitely gotta get more treats for my fur babies! We just moved back to the area, and have been looking for a doggie daycare for my sweet Lola. I tried other daycares, and I wasn't completely satisfied. When I called to get info, I talked to the owner and I felt better about this place right off. When I took her for her evaluation day, they showed me around and Lola was so happy! They treated her like their own, and I feel so much better knowing that she is being well taken care of while my husband and I are at work! Super super awesome little doggy day care! The staff are all incredibly friendly, and they even try to include a personal touch that I wasnt expecting by texting me a picture of my dog while he was there. My dog has separation anxiety so being at home alone is stressful on both of us while I'm at class and work, but Linda and her husband have an amazing place. The dogs (not just mine) all seem very happy and comfortable, and the staff worked with me to get my dog in the very next day on short notice which was amazing. They don't kennel the dogs which is fantastic, I know I hate the idea of dropping my dog off to be locked up, and even offer overnight boarding and the option for the owners to bring the dogs home with them so the dogs get all day love and fun and play. It's also (at least while I'm writing this review) a smaller place which means neither the staff nor the dogs are overwhelmed by 30 or more dogs all climbing all over each other. Reasonably priced, at least comparable to Rover (in fact a little cheaper than Rover is in this area of you buy packages of days) and you get the benefit of having a professional place and service.EDIT: For those who still aren't convinced, or on the fence, I'm making this edit. So I've been bringing my dog here since mid August, virtually every single day (barring weekends) and every single day I've been all the more indebted to Linda and her husband and all the staff there. I'm going on 4 solid months of bringing my dog here and they've been absolutely nothing but 110% sweet, kind, affectionate, and professional. I adore coming in and talking to the staff there, and they really feel like family. They take care of your dog, no matter what little quirk or special need they have because everyone there understands each dog is different and needs different personal care. They dote on them and love on them like your dog is their own, and I see them time and time again go above and beyond to take care and ensure your dog's and everyone else's dog's safety. If my dog has a limp or is acting weird they make sure to check on it and see if maybe, while he's there with them, they can see the problem. They get to know all the dog's personalities and understand what all the dogs need to be happiest. Such an amazing little doggy daycare with incredibly personalized care, to the point that even when I needed to come in and drop my dog off early (before they actually opened) to make it to an exam (the alternative would be he'd stay home alone, not a good idea with his separation anxiety) Linda didn't hesitate and came in early to open early just for me to be able to drop him off. While I wouldn't take advantage of her absolute thoughtfulness and try to do that every day, it was a major demonstration of just how dedicated and amazing they are here. If you're nervous, or not sure, let me say that this is a great place to try to bring your dog in for day care or grooming. (Overnight boarding is also available but the owner actually brings the dogs home with her so she's limited in how many dogs she can take on a given day, and if you're interested in that I would definitely call ahead of time and talk to her. She's very easy to talk to and work with!) The fact that it's a smaller place is definitely an advantage because you can tell the dogs get a lot more one on one and individual care for their needs. I can't say enough good things about this place and wouldn't hesitate to tell everyone to try it out if they're nervous like I was initially. It's absolutely well worth it to know your dog is getting the social interaction (if he/she wants it, if not the staff don't mind letting your dog hang out separate--aka with them--from the other dogs so they don't get overwhelmed), the play time, and the supervision to let you complete your tasks without worrying about your dog or dogs. I've seen dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and energy levels in there day to day and the staff all work so hard to ensure and maintain a really awesome atmosphere (and a safe place) for your dog to stay at! My first time taking my 1 year old cockapoo to the groomers and I was so nervous because she gets separation anxiety. I picked her up and she was so happy running around the lobby with her new hair cut. I love the way it turned out and it was exactly how I imagined. I can tell Winnie feel so much better mat free (she also had 2 lbs of fur on her, I weighed her before and after). We took both of our dogs to Linda's Tail Chasers Canine Retreat and Pet Boutique, for a Groom... it was AMAZING! Angie & Samantha were really good with them and they looked adorable when they finished. They received the full treatment; Bath, Nail Trim and Brush n'Cut..... Our Golden also had the opportunity to receive Reiki Energy Healing while being groomed, a service coming soon to Tail Chasers... Attached is a photo of this service. Our dog stayed with Linda at Tail Chasers for 2 days while we were out of town. During the day she got to play with the other dogs in daycare, and in the evening Linda provided petsitting in her home. Linda sent us pictures and updates while we were away, and I could tell our pup was having the time of her life. We had her groomed, too, and she looked beautiful at pickup.
