Table 8 Pasta

We decided to come here after reading that Table 8 serves fresh pasta and it's also fast casual. I love fresh pasta and often do you get these 2 choices in 1? The restaurant inside has tables that seat up to 8 people, but there are two tables near the front that are more comfortable for groups or families of 3 or 4. The walls and floor are both light and slightly-dark gray in color. To the left of the entrance is the counter where you can place your order as well as the kitchen where everything is prepared. When we walked in, we saw a girl make fresh noodles from a pasta machine. That sealed the deal for me!Daughter ordered Spaghetti with Meat Sauce plus 2 meatballs. I took one of the meatballs. :). She thought it was good and that it tasted fresh. The meatballs were delicious and soft. We also ordered Gemelli Arrabbiata, which is tomato sauce with chili peppers. It was good but it wasn't spicy enough. I had to add red pepper flakes to make it spicier. I also ordered a side of garlic bread with cheese and it was good. Hubs ordered Caesar salad with anchovy dressing and he liked it. At first, we thought there weren't enough anchovies but it turned out that it was hidden in the dressing. Fabulous pasta and sauces and meatballs to die for! I had half zucchini noodles and half fusilli with the Table 8 dance and my husband had campanelli noodles with Fenway sauce. Went here for the first time today, amazing food great service! What more could you ask for than real food at the right price and in five minutes it's in front of you. Love their pasta (and sauces). I usually call ahead and order so that it's ready by the time I arrive (usually anywhere from 10-15 mins. ). Great staff, great atmosphere. Went in with a co worker today. The service was great. The girl behind counter was. Very Nice! The portion was smaller then expected and a tad bit pricey but the food was very delicious. I'm trying to cut back on pasta these days (can't burn it off like I used to). I was glad to see they offer a few sandwiches at lunch time. I've tried the meatball and chicken parm and both were as good as I've ever had. They take a bit Ionger to make but the meatball and cutlet was made fresh. Worth the wait. Wish they would add more lunch options as it's hard to eat pasta for lunch, unless you want to take a nap in the afternoon. Overall it's a good place. I will be going back. More...

Headline: Table 8 Pasta works for those on low-carb diets!With the availability of zucchini noodles (and no upcharge for them), you can put a very tasty, low-carb meal together. The two Table 8 employees were very friendly and helpful. I had the zucchini noodles with red clam sauce and asparagus. My kids had conventional pasta with marinara. They split a side of garlic bread. All of us enjoyed our meals very much and my younger kids had some to take home. The staff did make the error of giving us dinner portions when we had ordered lunch, so having so much to bring home might not be something we can count on in the future. Also, they were out of broccoli so my daughter couldn't add it to her pasta. Finally, check your receipt because they made an unintentional error and double-charged us for the veggies we added. I have had takeout twice in the past five weeks. I ordered linguini with Table 8 sauce and linguini with garden sauce. Both meals were good, and I would order them again. Service was friendly courteous and. Efficient. Pasta was slightly overcooked, but with the sauce they were very good.  Not much on ambience if your eating in, very industrial feeling, but quality is good and price not bad. Personally I would make a small salad bar for those eating in or taking out. Salad is available but uninspired.  I would order to go for sure. Maybe a pasta buffet station with th same good products, but with salad bar and overseen by staff might be a good strategy? More...

Tried over lunch as I can never make it in for dinner. Hands down AMAZING! I got the chicken alfredo- creamy and delicious. Maybe a tad too much salt, enough to be noticeable but not so much you wouldn't eat it. Also got the cheesey garlic bread to sop up my extra alfredo sauces (because you can't leave sauce behind in the bowl). It was super garlicky and exactly how I always want my garlic bread to taste. So glad Table 8 Pasta opened in Bedford. What a great little restaurant. The veggie pasta is made with zucchini noodles and with the primavera sauce is so delicious. I'll address why I dropped 1-star: The pasta was overcooked. I was expecting perfect al dente pasta. Maybe I need to ask for it that way, otherwise, the 3 pasta orders I got were all mush. With that being said, the space is industrial-cozy (if that makes sense). The menu is very cool and easy to follow: pick a pasta, pick a sauce, and then pick add-on proteins and veggies. I went in on a Monday and they had a special of 2 full pasta dishes, a large salad, and garlic bread for $30. After adding some proteins and a kid's dish, our total was $42. My wife was able to split her pasta into two meals. The sauces really shined as scratch-made, but it was the Caeser Dressing that blew us away. I would easily go back for the large Caeser with grilled chicken in a heartbeat. I'll do another visit to see if they can get the pasta right. More...
