Dined at Table 427 on a damp Friday evening. Even though we could not sit outside, the small, cozy table seating inside was just fine. The service was wonderful and the food was terrific. Everyone enjoyed the evening. Most memorable though was the ending of the night. It was POURING rain when we were done. After waiting a few minutes for a break (which was not coming)., the chef grabbed an umbrella and our car check, and walked down the street to ask the parking lot attendant to bring our car to the front. Then, he and several other employees escorted us to the car with multiple umbrellas. When the weather in SoFL is perfect, it is paradise. Saturday nights at Table 427 with their disc jokey are always fun. The food last night was second only to some awesome service. Mussels in saffron, bone marrow, and a wonderful salad all set the stage for the main courses which were all, excellent. Sea bass, lamb, chicken and grouper were all cooked and plated perfectly. This was hands down the best meal I have ever eaten. We did the "No menu option" and allowed the chef to just choose our meal for us and I am so glad that we did. The food was incredible and he came out to explain each dish to us which was just a really amazing experience. The wait staff was great as well, they made sure we were well taken care of.
