Q&As

The best moment I love most is when a client's dog looks up at them in stead of reacting, to say "ok, so what do I do now?" for the first time. It's the moment the dog has chosen a team approach, and it means we can go so many wonderful places with training.

I grew up training, driven by a desire to bond with the dog, and this has carried into my current methods - positive and individualized. I didn't see any of those reflected in employers, so I knew it was time to offer my skills and perspective.

I think my clients enjoy working with me because I give them tools to communicate with their dog, in a way that makes them feel good about their partnership. As my demo dog and many of my client's dogs show, you can get excellent and reliable results with methods based in reward motivation.

I can provide remote training through FaceTime, Zoom, Google Hangouts, and Skype. Please note this kind of training requires sincere owner dedication to learning methods and techniques. Consider training a new hobby.

Because I mostly train in my client's homes, I am very careful to wear a mask whenever indicated. Because I and some of my clients are vaccinated, at some homes we have chosen to de-mask with proper distancing to facilitate training.

Services

I can help you build positive behaviors, eliminate negative behaviors, and more with positive methods and relationship-based training! Leash walking, reactivity, house training, basic service tasks, problem behaviors, and my favorite, puppy raising, among so many other things we could work on.
