Do not book this company if you want a trustworthy, responsive vendor! Similar to the other reviews here, Swoop contacted us to let us know they had "double booked" all of the vehicles we were using for transportation to and from our wedding and other events for Friday and Saturday - a week before this was supposed to happen. Instead of an apology, they said we could pay more to bring in additional vehicles. 3 emails and 3 voicemails later and we STILL haven't heard from them. BUYER BEWARE. I should have listened to the bad reviews. Everything seemed fine until the day of my wedding, when the bus driver was mysteriously stalled, did not follow the detailed itinerary we provided (that Swoop cross-checked and approved), and did not have any of the multiple phone contact numbers we provided to Swoop exactly for this reason. Swoop dispatch was no help, and we had to reach out to the driver ourselves and send detailed coordinates to help him figure out where he needed to be. Half of our guests arrived very late, delaying the wedding nearly an hour and making all of our vendors stay an hour later than we had booked. Even though Swoop promised to contact us to resolve it the following Monday, they ignored us, and we had to drive all of the follow-up for weeks. When we finally did get through to them, they couldn’t even explain what went wrong — at times blaming the driver and at other times blaming me (for an itinerary they approved!), but never once admitting there may have been an oversight or miscommunication on their side. They did offer a small partial refund — which wouldn’t even come close to the cost of keeping a photographer, videographer, venue and food vendors an extra hour. I should've paid attention to the red flags. From the booking process, to the struggle of trying to speak to someone about changes all led up to the fact that the shuttle I had reserved that held my entire wedding party and family was over an hour and a half late. I, unfortunately, missed out on being able to take pre-ceremony pictures while we still had daylight. It all could've been avoided if I had listened to my gut from the beginning.
I think the most upsetting part was that there was no excuse, no apology, no follow up, just silence.

I would never hire this team for future events.

I came to Swoop two months ago pretty stressed about having the perfect wedding, and with that came organizing the transportation aspect of it. For all the brides out there, you and I both know, weddings are for our parents - I'd have soon eloped if I didn't love my mom as much as I do.
Regardless, I came to Swoop desperately looking for various forms of transportation to cater to all the needs of my guests from both sides of our families - and what I got was above and beyond what I could have imagined. They went through all the logistics with me to ensure the vehicles were timed perfectly to make it on time for our ceremony.
The day of everything went swimmingly. The drivers were so professional.

I spent the entire night doing what most lucky brides get to do - downed a few drinks, and danced with my husband until they kicked us out of the venue. Happily ever after? Who knows, we'll see, but it sure as hell started pretty smooth.

Where do I even begin… I am so grateful for finding Swoop last minute from a friend after the my previous transportation company cancelled on me just THREE DAYS before my wedding. My wedding was in Palm Desert and everyone else I called in the LA surrounding area would not come out. Swoop agreed with no hesitation. I was a little worried at first because of the short notice but the day of they performed without any issues. It was flowing on it’s own and I didn’t even need to think about it (as I was so occupied with million of other things running through my head). From the last minute solutions they offered me when I was in dire need, to them being able to respond to my emails and frantic calls and then performing beyond exceptions on the day of. Unfortunately, I am not able to recommend using Swoop at all. If you do choose to use them, please have a backup plan!

I found Swoop on the Knot and I reserved a limo bus to shuttle my wedding party to and from our ceremony location to the reception venue back in August 2021. I checked on my reservation in September and saw that there was no driver assigned. I emailed and they said that my reservation was confirmed and that I'd get the driver's information 24 hours before the trip starts. I just wanted to be able to confirm the stops and times with the driver but as long as they had my reservation I had no issue with this.

This Monday, six days before my wedding, I get an email from Swoop's operations rep that the limo bus (Titan) that I reserved was damaged the previous weekend and that the repairs are taking longer than expected. I was given two options: 1) they'd look for another vehicle but it would be a mini-coach with forward facing seats, however, they weren't sure they'd be able to secure one because rides are booked for the weekend, or 2) give me a full refund. I tried to be reasonable and patient as they were working on finding a comparable vehicle and said they'd update me by the end of the day. I asked if they could find two smaller passenger capacity limo buses if they couldn't find the one I reserved. At 8:30 pm they emailed and said that they could not find any size vehicle party bus or non-party bus for me but would update me again the next day.

I emailed back asking If I found something comparable would Swoop compensate me for the difference in pricing as they've given me no solutions with the wedding in 5 days. I waited until the next afternoon before emailing and asking for an update. The operations rep said they secured a bus (not similar to the one that I reserved) but they did not have a driver available. They said they'd let me know if they find a driver or refund me to search for something else.

Today, three days from my wedding, I emailed saying I could no longer wait if at this point they still have no driver and a similar vehicle. Swoops response was that they'd send the refund and cancelled the reservation.

I feel like they basically held my money for 3 months and issued a refund and left me out to dry 3 days before my event. This is such an inconvenience and I feel like they didn't go above and beyond to find a solution for me. For your sanity, please book your transportation needs with someone local and more reliable.

Do not use this company. Swoop called us at 9pm the night before our wedding to let us know they did not have enough busses to fulfill their obligation to us. Their solution was to offer us transportation for 50 guests instead of the 104 we had paid for. When we asked if they could provide for what we had purchased they said it would cost extra. Luckily we were able to find someone to cover for their mistake and our guests were able to get a ride. After refunding our money they offered us $300 in credit with them as an apology. Unless you enjoy last minute wedding stress, lack of communication, and having emails ignored. Do not use this service. More...

We initially did not have a good experience on our wedding day with a very late and very rude driver. We had booked a bus for 2 hours to go from the hotel to the venue and around the grounds to have our bridal party photos. We ended up having to find our own way to the venue, the bus eventually came for about 45 minutes for whatever photos we could do, and we were 20 minutes late to the ceremony.
However, after speaking with customer service we were able to come to a resolution about our issues for our event, and they seemed to care a lot about making it right with us.

Swoop was amazing to work with! As an event planner, transportation is one area that I worry about the most. It is hard to clearly articulate when and where guests need to be picked up, if the driver should wait for all guests or leave at a certain time so they are not late, and if the driver should plan on one trip or looping between two locations. But with Swoop it was truly seamless! The driver came ahead to time to drive each route ahead of time. We also texted all day to make sure we were on the same page in terms of timing! I would highly recommend their services to anyone who does not want to worry about transportation anymore :) More...

***UPDATE: I spoke with Roger in their Customer Service department and he arranged for me to get a full refund! I applauded a company that will own up to their issues and be willing to refund my money. And they are no longer working with this driver. THANK YOU!
Issues from beginning to end. Poor communication (no phone number) 55 person bus with duct tape on the window, a dirty mattress (driver bed) in the back, arrived late, had no air conditioning (95 degree day) broke down on the way to the wedding, had to delay our wedding ceremony to wait for guests to arrive while a thunderstorm loomed. End of night the driver refused to drop off at 3 addresses in our contract- only stopped at the first. We had to arrange transportation for people to get to their final destination after drinking all night! We filled out the appropriate complaint paperwork and now 2 weeks later we got HALF of our money back. We deserve a FULL REFUND because they never fulfilled the details of our contract! And when we called to ask for the remainder back, no one answers and the mailbox is full. BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS VENDOR!!!

I used swoop for me and many bridal party last month and the service was great. I hadn’t heard of swoop before but decided to give them a try based on the reviews here on The Knot and they did not disappoint. They are prompt with sending you an email with a quote of what your requested service would cost, and then confirming it was fairly easy. The day of the wedding I received an email with the name of my driver and what specific car they would be driving. He was waiting outside the hotel lobby at the time specified and had a sign with my last name on it for extra clarity.

They are pricey (my husband + groomsmen took Uber Premium and saved way more money) so I can’t quite give the 5th star, but the service was extremely professional and it helped ease my mind on my wedding day.

I hired Swoop to handle our wedding celebration transportation from beginning to end, and I made the BEST choice. Jack & Kelvin were the ones who arranged all the details and did their best to work within our budget without compromising quality. Joseph handled our transportation for me and my girls and for my entire wedding party until we had to be dropped off at our reception venue, and he was such a good sport and very accommodating. I used Swoop this past weekend with a small group of friends and we were blown away by the service and safety measures. The vehicle was super clean and the driver wore a mask the whole time.
