We called an made reservations at Swoon for Mother's Day Dinner at 3pm for 7 people. So happy they were able to accommodate us! We ended up a table of six and we were NOT disappointed; From the amazing Fresh Food to the outstanding service. We ordered many apps for the table - all were amazing:Cheese Platter, Snap Pea Salad (My fav), Little Neck clams (Highly recommend), Oysters and Chicken liver mousse (SO GOOD!)For dinner:3 had the pappardelle - very good1 had the bucatinni - also good1 had the scallops (were the BEST ever)and I had the duck - skin was nice and crispy and the meat was tender - cooked perfectlyWe had an amazing bottle of Malbec (Clos La Coutale) which is their house and finished with desserts - would definitely recommend the creme brulee and anything that comes with the homemade ice cream(s).The servers are amazing and friendly even after a long hard weekend! We ordered the fried artichokes as our appetizer, whilst delicious they were too oily for me to enjoy a lot of them. My daughter and her boyfriend bought me dinner at Swoon for my birthday. Wow. We had such a great time. Loved the atmosphere and service was top notch. Lots of choices for dinner and a great wine. BUT.... if they have the Pavlova with lemon curd and plum sorbet GET IT! It was amazing. All four of us couldn’t stop eating it! Overall a wonderful night and we will be back! More...

The Swoon bar is a warm and cozy respite from the blustery weather of Hudson that serves high quality. I’d give it a 5, but the portions of food were on the small side; perfect for me but probably not satisfying for my husband, as an example.
