Disclaimer: This is my FIRST review I’ve ever written for ANY company or service in my life. I don’t Yelp or anything like that. So, that in and of itself should tell you that I mean what I’m saying and I’m saying what I mean. Melissa is THE BEST! I moved to Greenville the last day of May this year and was still on again off again crutches from a recent hip surgery. As a result of said surgery, I’m physically unable to bend down, squat, kneel, and some days even walk normally, if at all. As a result, let’s just say my bathroom wasn’t a room I was proud to let guests in. I’m borderline OCD and like things “just so” and HATE a mess. However, with my physical limitations, I was incapable of keeping my floors, toilet, tub, countertops, etc in the condition that a grandmother would be proud of. June to December is 6 months for those of you that can’t do math. Though I’m not sloppy, soap scum, hard water, etc had completely taken over my bathroom. Imagine a communal bathroom shared by a frat house, a coal mining company, and a football team. YIKES! It was embarrassing to say the least. Enter Melissa and Swiftly Swept Away. I leave her a key I had made for her and cash on an end table for her services and Lord have mercy on my pitiful little soul. I came home to a bathroom so clean that a newborn’s mother wouldn’t feel guilty letting a day old baby lick any surface of (not that I recommend or condone any mother letting any child or person do that ever). My joy didn’t end there. The rest of my bachelor pad was vacuumed, dusted, oven and kitchen counters wiped down, she even washed dishes that were on the CLEAN/DRYING side of the sink and stacked them neatly on the counter. To take it a step further, she took out my trash! Not just the big bag, the little bags in the bathroom and bedroom trash bags. Furthermore, she put ACTUAL mini garbage bags in those bad boys! Not Food Lion or Harris Teeter bags like any bachelor does. I didn’t know people actually bought those freaking things in the first place! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Melissa and Swiftly Swept Away is hands down and without a shadow of a doubt the BEST money I’ve spent in a LONNNNNNNNG time and I’m obviously going to be a repeat customer. Pick up the phone and call her today. Bachelor? You need her. Married? Your wife needs a break. Or, if you’re the wife, you DESERVE a break. Buy this for yourself for Christmas. Company? She does that too apparently! Elderly? She’s super sweet and nice and a pleasure to talk to. Disabled? See above.
