Cupcakes were honestly underwhelming for the price point. I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my son's birthday party and they tasted and looked more like muffins. I get that she has full reign over the creative process of designing them, but it fell short of my expectations for about $7 a cupcake. I am giving only 1 star as I was very dissatisfied with the product I received. I contacted Maha several weeks ago as the baker I usually use was booked for the date I needed. I needed six dozen cookies (for 2 separate events). I sent pictures to Maha of what I was looking for. One was a baptism and the other a cowgirl party. Maha indicated she doesn't "reproduce others work" and I said fine just use the pictures as a guide. My pick up time was Friday at 10am. I arrived on time and they weren't ready. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes. In Maha's messages she repeated please be respectful of your pick up times. She needs to take her own advice. I was late picking someone up since she was late. The baptism cookies were kind of plain and nothing like the "sample" I gave her. I didn't expect them to be the same but they could've been more bright and elaborate. The cowgirl cookies were dark, and a circular cookie with what was supposed to be cow print looked like a soccer ball. I sent her pictures of vibrant colors and I got dull, dark colors and the hand painting of design on the cookies were atrocious! On top of that, the cookies had no flavor. For the $525 I paid for 6 dozen cookies, I expected more. Several people asked where I got the cookies as they had upcoming events. I told then not to go to Maha and gave them of my regular baker and told them she is easier to work with and produces a higher quality product (taste and design). This is a super late review but the cake I ordered and the conversation I had with Maha came up again recently and I realized I had forgotten to leave a review. I had asked Maha if I could have a cake styled like the picture attached and she said she could definitely do it. I was shocked when my husband picked up the cake and it looked the way it did. When I tried to explain to her that I was unhappy about the end result she took zero accountability and said it didn't look far from what I had asked for. I didnt want a refund or anything like that, just to give some feedback. Instead she got super defensive. When we took the cake out of the plastic covering it looked much worse than what is shown here. Thankfully we were able to make the cake look more presentable by adding a little figurine on the top and putting the happy birthday sign for the bar in front of the cake to hide it a bit. While it's clear that Maha is talented in many ways and makes some beautiful cakes, I dont understand why she would say she's able to create something that she clearly could not. Ordered 3dzn cupcakes. The design on the cupcakes were cute, slightly off brand from what we'd discussed - but we weren't too concerned. I personally enjoyed the strawberry, & others enjoyed the Red Velvet, however the cookies and cream missed the mark for us as the flavor resembled that of merely chocolate, and not C&C. Again, not the end of the world - but for the price ($75/dzn) I feel we've worked with other bakers (commercial & private) that have provided a product and experience more fitting to that of our expectations & price point. Maha is kind, but a bit abrasive at times as she demands full autonomy when it comes to designing your purchase. Nothing entirely out of the norm, but the way in which she conveyed her needs were....well, let's just say it could have been conveyed more respectfully. I would personally not address any of my prospective clients/customers in the way she did I. But again - this was just a small blip throughout the experience.In short, it was a decent experience and in the moment the product we paid for was enjoyable and served its purpose. Would I return, unfortunately it's unlikely. Feedback: Perhaps being a bit more flexible when it comes to listening to your customers design input/ needs may benefit the business. Afterall, you are providing a service likely for a special day, or event - most customers just want to be heard, and guided by the expert. I have to say I did look at her cakes and reviews prior to ordering but the cake I ended up getting is nothing close to what I expected or asked for. I asked for something similar to the cake with the name James and I got the Ethan cake.... My heart was broken... this was for my sons first birthday... I really just want an explanation as to why my cake took less priority than any other but she had no problem taking all my money.... $280 for that?!? More...

We have ordered from here before and always had a great experience. However, really disappointed this time around. We reached out and started a dialogue over a week ago, was told to send what we wanted and she would send us back an invoice. Tried following up w her numerous times thru email and Instagram during this time period and now 1 day before the party says it's too late and she can't fulfill the order, leaving us no time to source another vendor. Needed a custom cake for an event and fell completely in love looking at photos of Maha's many beautiful creations. With just over 2 weeks until the event, fingers crossed, I sent an e-mail detailing what we'd like done and she responded promptly with the price and explained her design process as it related to the cake images we'd sent. Maha has helped us in baking a super duper delicious cake with the great teddy bear design. She helped in customizing the cake. She is very patient in listening to all the requirements. In addition, she gave me very good suggestions as well for the cake customization. The price is very reasonable. The local bakeries are way too expensive for this kind of a cake.She is very prompt as well in her response. She will either pick your very first call or immediately respond back.Flavors: We picked Orange and Chocolate ganache as flavors for our two layer cake. Both the flavors got sold out. I didn't even get to taste the orange cake , but as the host , but was very happy to note from all of my guests that they loved the cake.I managed to taste the last slice of Choclate ganache' cake, which is very delicious too and chocolatey..it was just yumm!!Maha would be my goto Baker for all of my next big cakes .Good Luck Maha!! I contacted these people because I saw a cake on yelp that I really wanted for my birthday in the beginning of June I even sent them a picture they never replied. They are not open for business you can only go by appointment and they never reply back to let you know when that appointment would be or when you could come in. I want to post another review for the desserts that Maha made for our baby shower. She made themed cookie boxes and a super delicious mango cake for us. The cake was so adorable and cute, didn't feel like cutting into it. The cookie boxes too were super beautiful and neatly packed. This review is long overdue, but I highly recommend Sweet Treats for all your birthday, wedding, event cake needs! Maha was extremely responsive and flexible to using my own cake topper. You can trust her creativity because I knew nothing about cake designs and she came up with something beautiful and unique based on the colors I wanted! She also helped me choose the cake size for the party. The tiramisu flavor was delicious and not too sweet as well. 10/10 More...

I had ordered from Maha in late December for my sister in laws baby shower. She went into early labor a couple of days before the shower so we had to postpone the event for a few months since her twins were going to be in NICU for a while. Maha was wonderful and VERY flexible and patient with our situation. The treats we ordered were beautiful and delicious! Pros:- Cakes taste excellent and has all the right flavors- Maha is located close to the 85 in a residential area that has street parking. Always love supporting local businessesCons: - My cake didn't look like the cake i sent her! I attached a picture of it. Talked to Maha about it and she said she doesn't imitate cakes and has creative liberties as long as its within theme... but could've at least added some green and orange frosting for a ninja turtle themed cake. Especially spending $170 on the 6" cake. Make sure you be very specific with the cakes. - As mentioned, spent $170 on a 6", so the cakes are on the pricer sideOverall, would not go with Maha again especially since she was very defensive when I told her about how I was dissatisfied with the results and Maha can only offer me a 15% discount for "next time"... well there won't be a next time here! This review is long overdue and I finally got around to writing it.I ordered my baby shower cake from Maha and it was a great experience working with her. We opted for the Nutella chocolate cake and everyone loved it at the party.The best part was that it wasn't a fondant cake and hence we could enjoy it completely without having to waste any of it.The cake was moist and super tasty. Highly recommend Maha! She did a phenomenal job on our gender reveal cake. We had a custom request that included a breakable heart on top of the cake to reveal the gender and while Maha hadn't done this specific type of reveal before she was accommodating of our request and put in the creativity to figure out a way to make our vision come to life and it worked perfectly! She was prompt, professional and flexible in her communication. With very few inspo photos she created a cake that was even more beautiful than I could have imagined and yummy too!
