My wife and I contracted Sweet Reasons for our son and daughter in laws baby shower a few weeks ago. The cupcakes were fantastic and they were able to replicate their favorite layer from their wedding cake. Attendees were going back for the cupcakes more than anything else. The best cupcakes around! I used to live an hour away and would drive out of my way to Sweet Reasons just to get the best cupcakes. They are always flavorful, tender, and big! The frosting to cake ratio is perfect. I would suggest eating with a spoon or fork because they do fall apart easily outside of the wrapper. I was traveling with a group returning from D.C. We decided to stop in Fredericksburg for a quick bite to eat. I have a fabulous sweet tooth and Sweet Reasons Cupcakes caught my eye. I tried the RED VELVET CUPCAKE. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the cupcake was and more importantly the perfectly mixed/blended icing for the cupcake. Not sure if it was a cream cheese icing...but it was FANTASTIC. Not only were the cupcakes great...but I was greeted with a smile and friendly small talk. The cupcakes were dry. The butter rum was a bit heavy handed on the rum side but tasted okay. 3/5. We only had butter rum, I am not sure if they were the gluten free or not.+1 star for customer service. 4/5.

I make my sons cake every yr, this yr I was unable to, due to illness. They were able to fill my order on short notice, produce a product that was ascetically pleasing, and delicious. Not only were they a hit with the bday boy... But the price didn't cost me an arm and a leg! � The staff are also a 'Sweet Reason,' to order there as well! Kind, helpful, and understanding. I enjoy trying the different flavor combinations. I had a pumpkin caramel pecan cupcake that was so good that I went and got it a second day in a row. I have tried the staple black and white and red velvet but I did not really care for those. I have liked every other flavor i've tried(too many to count). Tasty!While I didn't physically visit this bakery, I was a recipient of a delicious cupcake.The cupcake traveled all the way from Fredericksburg to Virginia Beach.  The freshness... everything was pretty much in tact.  I must mention the weather was well above 90 degrees on this particular day.  The cupcake was flavored oh so swell, moist, fresh, the perfect amount of sweetness... I loved it!  While this isn't the best cupcake I have ever had, this is the first cupcake that I have had in weeks, maybe even months... so worth the wait.I will definitely look up this bakery if I am in the area.  I can only imagine what anything else taste like, but if it's any indication of this one cupcake... This place is fantastic. The cupcakes are moist and delicious. They have unique flavor combos that never disappoint. The service is so friendly. My kids love to go here when we're on a special outing. They're happy to answer questions and super patient when I have the little ones with me struggling with what to choose.
