Sweet Peach Confections is a home baking business started by husband and wife duo, Colin and Leanne Brooks. What started as an experiment in making a cake for a baby shower for a family member, became a realization that maybe there was something to this!

I ordered a marble cake from Leanne, and gave her a few ideas of a baseball style cake but told her to do whatever she wanted as long as the theme was baseball. She hit this one out of the park. I’ve been playing words with friends with Colin for a long time and noticed he hadn’t been on for a while. When he came back I wanted to make sure all was ok during these pandemic times. He explained he and his wife, Leanne, had been very busy with their bakery. Loving baked sweets like I do and knowing my daughter in law has an upcoming baby shower, I asked if they mailed or delivered. Although their bakery is in Alpharetta GA, the timing was such they offered to deliver the order while visiting family in Florida . Fantastic delivery service! My grandkids loved the Halloween theme cake pops with green delicious cake center and candy sugar skulls and colorful confetti. My big kids, Chuck and I absolutely loved the margarita cupcakes. I learned I liked mine best without squeezing the tequila ????. I used the lime wedge to chase the tiny shot and followed that with a bite of the surprising sweet and salty delicious cupcake. The balance between the not too sweet vanilla cake and the subtle lime and salt flavors in the icing were a perfect marriage. They both passed a high bar of taste and texture so of course we’ll be ordering custom baby shower cookies to be shipped. I also love supporting small businesses! Thanks Colin and Leanne!!! What inspired you to start your own business?
Baking with family growing up and watching baking contests on TV, knowing we can produce a better quality product. It's sad what low standards are accepted as works of art or delicious. Time to reset the bar!
